We stayed at this hotel so this was nice after a long day site seeing. Food was good but service was a little on the slow side.

We stayed at the attached hotel and had dinner here the one night. Very nice restaurant, with an easy going feel. The staff are friendly and the food is very good. Enjoyed the meal and our time here.

We enjoyed a very nice breakfast every morning before heading out sightseeing. Ate dinner here on our last night and wished we would have done it earlier in our stay. Dinner was excellent too.

My wife and I had both dinner and breakfast at Dish. At dinner my wife had Squash Soup which she loved as well as a marvelous Beet Salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. The bread served was fresh and tasty. I had Fettuccini with a creamy garlic dressing covered with Mussels and with some rather large shrimp. I was very impressed... More

This small restaurant off the lobby inside the River Inn on a residential street was just what we were in the mood for. Fairly quiet around 7:30 on a Saturday evening with an extremely friendly, efficient staff, the menu was your normal "new American" fare, nothing eclectic. All three of our meals were tasty and perfectly cooked. The restaurant filled... More

Went for a dinner before a show at the Kennedy Center. I really enjoyed the food as each meal was well cooked and presented. The place seems great for a gathering with friends as there are large tables available and a full bar. Having said that, I wish the lighting was a little more subdued as it would have helped... Nice meal and good service here. The restaurant is small so it can be very loud if crowded. Speaking of which, it does get crowded so a reservation is recommended. We enjoyed the scallops and ahi tuna. Calamari appetizer was good, but wouldn't call it great. Nice wine and beer menu for a small little bistro off the beaten path--staff... More

Walk in and ask for the table you want; the door is tough for waitstaff or bartender to see. Then order a martini or a District Blossom, cocktails are nicely shaken. Crab cakes are great, even for crab cake territory, and the veg side is bright and fresh. The caper, wine, butter sauce was good enough to eat with a... More

Never found a better restaurant in a hotel. If I lived in DC I would move to this neighborhood just to be near this restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is located. We arrived without a reservation and were able to be seated right away. The restaurant is small and can be loud when a large group is seated next to you. The service was attentive but our waiter had a very thick accent that was hard to decipher at times. The... More
