Bistrot Lepic epitomizes, the essence of sensuality and delicacy in food. Notwithstanding the colors and free brushstrokes of impressionism, french cooking holds its own...and this bistrot rises to the occasion with its subtlety of flavors that I can rightly say, puts traditional french food on a pedestal in the DC area... The clientele at the restaurant is upscale and mature...... More

Good service and great food. My husband loved the escargot and my lobster bisque was spicy and good. We had scallops, liver, quail, and a seafood salad as entrees and everyone agreed the food was delicious.

Great place in Georgetown, VA. The food is just amazing. The lamb chops were exquisite, the medallions incredible and the salmon just delicious. Great place and great service. A place to come back.

I had to invite a business associate to this restaurant I knew and did not like. Except for the service that was impeccable EVERYTHING is mediocre: the decoration; the silverware; the plates; the food presented with pompous vacuous names and such bad taste that it seems none of it is prepared at the moment. It feels like frozen/heated. The bread... More

Dear Jose, Thank you for thoughtful review. I'm sorry to hear you found several things about your experience at Lepic to be mediocre. I am glad to hear you had impeccable service as we have worked very hard to make this our standard. There are a few things we'd like to address: Firstly, it is important to note that the... More

Genuine French cuisine with authentic recipes and an excellent wine program! Where else can you find Pied de Cochons, Rognons in mustard sauce with smashed potatoes, and an Ile Flottante to die for? The service is attentive and personable. The owner has also put together a very good wine list with great choices from all regions of France at very... More

This restaurant is near my home and I go here often.. I usually have the liver - yes the liver! The preparation is outstanding and always good. It is a small place, so a reservation is essential, but if you are alone, you may find a place at the bar upstairs.

The atmosphere was nice and the noise level was low in the restaurant downstairs,so it was great to carry out a conversation. There was live music playing upstairs. Service was friendly and professional, as usual. However, the food was below expectations: the escargots were overcooked and tasteless, and the beef medallions were overdone. We ordered from the Restaurant Week Menu... More

A long time favorite since they opened, we visit whenever we are in D.C. We love the casual atmosphere in the wine bar with all same excellent food as in the dining room. Their pig’s feet and cassoulet are brilliant, but there is not an item we do not love. All carefully and well prepared and served

We found this restaurant by accident and decided to try and we were not disappointed! The escargot was yummy and the entire meal was wonderful. We ate in the main dining room, which is a little small but we were lucky to get a table in the corner that normally seats 4. We would recommend if staying near Georgetown.
