My family ate at this resturant. My dish was over cooked and dry. Their food was cooked well and delicious. I would be careful about dishes that are fried.

Our second visit to Cafe Berlin was nothing short of perfect. Again, the food was hand made and prepared to order, delightfully laid out, and simply delicious. I eagerly await my next visit to DC and Cafe Berlin!

We stopped by here for an easy dinner with our 4 1/2 year old daughter. We are sorry it took us so long to visit! Great German menu of schnitzels, sausages and other home-made treats. Great beer selection. Great service.

As a fan of German cuisine, I will say the food here was "ausgezeignet." Our party had a variety of appetizers, soups, entrees and desserts and it was all outstanding. Portions were substantial and the prices were very reasonable, especially for Washington. The cafe itself...More
While in DC for five days we have visited a variety of restaurants. What I like most about this one is a combination of the food and service. The food is outstanding (and that coming from someone whose family owns a German restaurant in another...More
Coming from German heritage I was interested to try their food. We saw that this place got some nice reviews, so we tried it out on our recent trip to DC. We weren't disappointed. Service was slow, but they had limited staff and were especially...More
