Distinctively average at best. Over staffed, over priced and under serviced. Food stodgy and bread stale. Won't be returning.

plain restaurant, lighting too bright. Food ok, staff not really friendly. Red wine served too cold. The price was way too high for whatever we have been served. All in all a 'meeh'-experience.
Very convenient location near DuPont Circle. The food is good classical American . The menu changed recently and they don't have anymore my favorite: Santa Fe chicken wrap. Recenty for Brunch I had chicken and waffles, quite good. My daughter had a Club sandwich that was OK with good French fries. Delicious monkey bread. Our drinks were watery. Nice service... More
We have been here before and enjoy the subdued stratosphere and excellent happy hour menu. After a long day of walking around, it is a good place to sit down and grab a bite to eat. It is pretty quiet, the wine carafe was about a half a bottle which was great and the happy hour apps are quite good... More
We had about 32 people dining. There was NOT enough room. We had to split into many tables, even in different sections of the restaurant. It took 15 minutes for the wairtress to even ask about drinks. It took another 20 minutes to get even water. The waitress couldn't even remember who ordered which drink. Then it was another 20... A special on the menu, the "Homestyle Meatloaf" is fantastic comfort food. Served with gravy and mash its fine on its own, or you can have additional vegetables. We ate dinner in the bar booths which are terribly uncomfortable. The food (chicken parm) was mediocre and the service about the same. So glad we were were someone's... More
Great place for lunch. Takes reservations. Generous portions. Hard to have a quiet conversation. Excellent service and well prepared meals.
I had the opportunity to visit the Daily Grill with some friends on a Saturday night. With the craziness of the Santa pub crawl going on around us, an early dinner was planned. We sat at a booth, enjoyed our drinks and meals (they were well prepared, pretty standard meals, served promptly), and headed out. My friend who lives in... More
