This 2-level ramen bar in Adams Morgan serves the best noodles in the neighborhood. There is often a line to get in. They do not serve alcohol. We had kimchi, pork belly and roasted scallion buns, and spicy mushroom buns as appetizers. Yum. You can customize your own soup bowls as well, and choose for your level of spiciness on... More

This place was a great choice for dinner on a chilly, rainy night. The buns are fabulous as is the ramen. I pretty much love this place - very casual, cozy, and lots of comfort food. Overall, I would definitely return and/or recommend it to others!

Dreamed to have a good ramen in Washington D.C. Found the place, which was cozy and quiet. Ordered 3 different ramen portions (we were 3): Gojiramen, Chosun Ramen and Dc Miso. All of them were rather big in size and tasteful. Unfortunately, on Fridays-Sundays they are open just at 5.30PM.

We ordered Spicy Pork Bun as appetizer and spicy miso as main. I was glad that I shared the appetizer with my bf because the portion was big for me, I consider it as a main course portion but it was excellent. The meat was tender, juicy, well seasoned. I could have eaten 2 plates. The spicy ramen however didnt... More

This place is pretty small but cozy. I arrived at 5:10 & seem that they were just open. I like when they greeted me nicely with smile as well. Our waiter Michael was really attentive & knows about the menu very well. My friend and i ordered bulgogi buns, i had Gojiramen and he got Spicy Miso. I loved it... More

Went two days in a row, so good had to go back again. Go early or be prepared to wait (no wait on Friday afyernoon, waited around half an hour on Saturday evening). Friendly service and delicious ramen, must visit if you are in the area.

I had vegetation which was very good. Mushrooms, corn, onion. Great flavor. Lots of options to add. My friend had a pork bowl and was pleased. Can be very busy. Go early!

We were in from out of town and our friend recommended this place for ramen. There was a little wait on a Saturday afternoon but it was so worth it. This is a small no frills place but the ramen does not disappoint. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in DC.

One of the busiest places in the area, Sakuramen has its own standards. Often there is waiting time, so be prepared. And the waiter would ask how spicy your food must be prepared on a scale of 1 through 10. I had selected 7, which is still spicy for Asians. So be careful while selecting the spicy level. But the... Sakuramen I ordered was very spicy to me, although there was no mention in the menu (ramen is by default not spicy in Japan). Fortunately I can eat spicy food and it tasted as good as ramen can be outside Japan, but if you can’t eat spicy food at all, beware. Oh, I need to mention the ice cold water... More
