Overall the experience was very good. We had 8 in our party and they seatedus quickly on a busy Saturday night with no reservation. Spring roles and Crab wontons were very good. My wife and I split the Pad Thai which was excellent. My daughters had Green curry and Pad See Eew, it was also very good. My two boys... More

We chose this restaurant because we ate here the last time we visited Georgetown in 2016. Food here was good again...we enjoyed the pad thai.

First, the food was amazing. Secondly, the service was impeccable. Third, the price was spot on. Fourth, the atmosphere was ideal- a side street sidewalk table on a beautiful spring night in Georgetown DC. You really can't ask for anything better. If you are looking for these things in a dinner out, go here! Spicy Ginger Shrimp and spring rolls... More

This was our first time at Mai Thai, but I will certainly return in the future. The food was fresh and the menu huge, anyone should be able to find something they like! The ambiance was pleasant, not too loud, with a relaxed vibe. The service was a little apathetic, but nothing to complain about. Overall, an enjoyable meal!

PROS: -- Food tastes good. -- Good portions. -- Restrooms are clean. -- Food prep is fast (avg of 10mins/entree) CONS: -- Prices are 2x price of other thai restaurants. -- Rice portions are VERY small, and they charge $2 for each small portion of rice. -- Servers do not smile. -- Servers keep asking to take plates when you... If you can bear the craziness that is M-Street and Wisconsin Ave then you'll find Mai Thai a welcome respite. Pros: ambiance, food quality, drinks, friendly staff Cons: slow service Neutral: price Info: the restaurant is easy to find and a short cab ride from the Foggy Bottom metro. Inside is calm, clean, and quiet and the staff are friendly.... More

I'm very picky about Thai food - and this wasn't quite as good as I was hoping for - but my husband thought it was excellent. It was very good - but I guess I had high hopes. The service was very warm and friendly - but not overly efficient. It wasn't crowded, but the waitresses seemed to be more... More
