We're from Maine, so we know good lobster roles. Lukes doesn't disappoint. Ask them to go light on the salt, and you'll get authentic food at a decent price. In fact the lobster rolls are the same price here as they are at home.

I've had real Maine Lobster Rolls and Lobster bisque and nothing has ever compared. Luke's Lobster was a cute little cafe, close to tourist destinations. I was impressed with the gluten-green option and the quantity of Lobster meat on the roll. I think adding garlic...More

Ate there around 8pm on a Sunday, after just arriving into town from the west coast. Great fresh food and friendly service. The trio sandwiches were tiny, but collectively filling enough. I would definitely go back.More

We were told this was a good place to eat but it is a great place to eat. Small but so delicious lobster rolls. My grandson got the trio lobster roll, shrimp roll, and crab roll so very good.

Quaint recreation of a million New England eateries where one walks up after hiking or boating for freshness from the sea. My lobster roll was in the style I prefer (toasted split bun). But the lobster meat was cold. Again, I was brought up on...More

Do you have cold bags to travel with and how long would the lobster be good ?

Hello. Unfortunately we do not have cold bags. For traveling we offer deconstructed rolls; untoasted bread and mayo/butter/seasoning on the side. We suggest refrigerating the lobster if it is not going to be consumed quickly.

Coming from Philly on Amtrak for 2 days in DC. How far are you from Union Station? Is it OK to bring our light luggage to lunch? We are staying at the Kimpton 1400 Rhode Island and would prefer to stop for lunch before going to the hotel. From the map this looks smart. Thanks for any advice!

Our DC location opened its doors on May 26, 2011 -- it's our first location outside Manhattan! We serve the same Maine-style menu -- lobster, crab and shrimp rolls, and bisque and chowder -- in a Down East-inspired shack.
