Don't go anywhere else but here. Daikaya is nothing compared to here. If Toki has a wait it's worth it 100%. Look for small door with blue symbol next to bar door. Amazing classic Toki and curry chicken is amazing. Love this place, great staff...More

The crew must have thought I was crazy when I told them that I travelled thousands of miles just to eat here again. (Not exactly true. I had other reasons for being in DC. But I made sure that it would be in my itinerary...More

Tremendous soup, really flavorful (actual "spice" rather than piquant). All the seating is on bar stools at counters, Taiwan-style. The volume is loud, but you can still hear the person you come with (better for two than for three or more). Short waits are OK...More

Love the decor, loved the food, loved the service. Crowded and minimal seating, but it's part of the experience. Be prepared to wait for a while if it's a busy night.

Tiny and cozy place in Ustreet. It can get pretty packed so I recommend booking in advance. Otherwise, it is always a good idea to wait at the bar downstairs.

This was my first visit here with some friends. Luckily she got a reservation. Note that they won't seat you until all of your party are there. They have you wait to the side, which is about a 6 square foot area that gets stacked...More

This is some of the best ramen I've had in DC. I went at 11:45am on a Monday and didn't have to wait. Service is quick and basic. The ramen is fabulous.

I almost didn't write this review because it's crowded enough as it is. Went on a Monday at 11:30 am, right when they opened, and still had to wait half an hour to get a seat. Really good, fresh food. Not your customary Japanese cuisine...More

Wanting to try an alternative to Pho, I searched online and learned about this spot. I went there during the day (post-lunch, pre-dinner) and had my selection of seats! Wait staff were relaxed. I didn't realize how good the soup was until recently having "homemade"...More

Ramen noodles are made with wheat flour. Soba noodles are made with buckwheat (gluten free) and wheat. You will have to contact the restaurant and see if they have soba noodles made just with buckwheat.

Depends on how big your party is. Capacity is 23 seats. Best to try and make a reservation.
