My husband watched two games at once while I enoyed a delicious original burger. Seasonal vegetables were delicious!

Stopped by here after a day of sightseeing in DC on Good Friday. Was about 6 pm. No wait, got table right away near the front. Sports bar so lots of TV's with all kinds of different games on. Had great meals. I had Buffalo chicken sandwich and my wife had Steak sandwich with Gorgonzola horseradish sauce. Two 20 oz... More

We stopped in for lunch and a cold beverage. The chicken cheesesteak was tasty and served with chips and a pickle. My son had the steakhouse burger cooked medium with A1 on the side. The burger was perfectly prepared and the seasoned fries were great. The beer on tap was cold and they have pints and larger 22oz glasses. The... More

Went here at 4pm on Monday just for drinks and a snack. Took forever for the server to bring our drinks, and even longer for the food. Then the server never came back to check on us, and we had to flag down someone else for refills.

Annie, I want to sincerely apologize for your experience here this past Monday. We pride ourselves on being attentive with all of our guests and not keeping anyone waiting so obviously we dropped the ball in a major way. We are looking at how we were staffed that day in an effort to not repeat this mistake. We appreciate you... More

We tried the Penn Quarter Sports Bar for lunch on a Wednesday morning in March. It was a nice day and the outside seating area actually had a few patrons on the patio. We sat inside, enjoying a couple of local draft beers and a couple of delicious lunch items. We split a blackened salmon salad and a breaded cod... More

We were halfway through a day of sightseeing in DC and decided we were starving. We stumbled on this place by accident and decided to try it. Their wings were big, crispy and flavorful. The fish and chips were good. Not the best I've had, but better than expected. Their drink prices were very reasonable and they have almost as... More

Visited here while on a vacation in DC. We were unfamiliar with the eateries and we were just strolling back to our hotel when we happened upon the Sports Bar. It was packed, inside and out so that was a good sign. My husband and I ate outside. Service was prompt and efficient. Our beers were cold and refreshing. We... More

Ate here for lunch and the food was delicious! I had a guacamole cheeseburger for $12 and a bud light for $4. My husband enjoyed a blue moon for $6. Very reasonable prices and one of the best meals we had in DC. Highly recommend!

On a March friday evening after a long search for a resto that allowed us to have a simple dinner without waiting 1 or 2 hours, we saw this Sports Tavern apparently not very attractive, but in fact very very good. We had hamburghers and tacos with very tasteful beer. The waiters were very kind and served us very quickly... More

Had a wonderful experience eating lunch with a glass of wine talking to John (general manager) about Washington, DC. Very friendly sports bar pub/restaurant with fantastic food. Burger with crumble Blue Cheese and hand made potatoe chips. NOT OUT OF A BAG. Can't say enough about food service, drinks , (wine) excellent server, delicious food. I'll definitely come here again.
