Had lunch at the Capital Grille after touring national mall. I say arty the bar and ordered the grilled salmon with avacodo and mango salad. It was very busy. After a half hour and still no food, the bartender looked very surprised that my meal had not been brought out yet. She basically ran to the kitchen to find out... More

I have always wanted to stop in here and had the time for a afternoon snack. Very old city grille and bar. Very classy but say families with young children coming. Had a few small plates and beverages. Not cheap but was worth it.

I love the steak at this place. Especially the Bone-In Ribeye. It is always cooked the way I like it. Medium rare. The service is wonderful. I also always get to sit in my favorite booth.

Everyone has their favorites. Cap Grille is mine. I like the cuts of meat and style of grilling more than the other steak houses. No extra butter or crazy sauces. Just good, dry aged beef. And the calamari is outstanding. Used to go to this location very often in my younger days. Now hit the Friendship Heights location. Not as... More

I've been coming here for years. One of the best steaks in town. Also try the calamari. Well made martinis at the bar. For out-of-towners, this is a place to see Washington insiders in their native habitat.

This is a traditional, reliable DC steakhouse, with all the appurtenances -- wood paneling, white tablecloths, soft lighting. We met friends our last visit and had a great time because not only was the food quite good, but the noise level allowed real conversation and we weren't rushed through the meal.

We eat here every year on a business trip. Party of 8 never had to ask for anything. Seafood tower appetizer was excellent. We shared sides of lobster Mac and cheese, spinach and garlic, Brussel sprouts which were very good. We had wine and mixed drinks which were done to everyone's satisfaction. Main courses were outstanding but let me just... More
