Went there with a large work group for dinner. We ordered the samplers, as well as additional beef, collards, and lamb. Food was delicious, they kept bringing out injera. Drank the spicy tea, which was delicious.

Delicious! For dinner with a friend, we split the vegetarian sampler (gomen, miser wot, kik aletcha, dinich wot...not sure which is which but it's lentils, split peas, potatoes and collard greens) and every piece was perfectly spiced and full of flavor. That plus a serving of the lamb tibs with the smoky awaze sauce was more than enough for two.... More

This was my first Ethiopia restaurant and I was not disappointed. Unusual bread and eating with your fingers! We had a blast! We shared a meat and a vegetable platter and all three me (two of them quite large) could not consume everything. I think our favorite was the chopped prime rib, or was it the garlic chicken or maybe... More

I got the Doro Key Wot based on a recommendation from an old Washingtonian. I wasn't familiar with the dish and didn't know what to expect. The two chicken legs came with the meat on the bone, which surprised me. I found it a little awkward pulling the meat off the bone with the injera. There was also a hard-boiled... More

Food was excellent at a reasonable price . Lots of new flavors I've never had . If it's your first time eating Ethiopian food don't get scared when you can't find the knife and fork. You use the bred they give you to scoop food .

I've had Ethiopian food in many places around the world including Addis and Asmara and this is the worst I've had. If you want better in DC, go elsewhere especially to the U street corridor or some place in the suburbs. The food here is too westernized and in my opinion, taste very different from Ethiopian food I've had in... More

Nice neighborhood restaurant. Really good food, really knowledgeable servers. We shared the sampler plate and found it a very nice introduction to Ethiopian food. Nice "after work" atmosphere

Ethiopian food is great. The bread (injera) is interesting and different. It's used to pick up the food. Great fun. Anyway we had the vegetarian sampler with lamb tibs. Lovely flavours and filling. The service was excellent and the whole night a delight. Definitely recommend!
