If you are looking for a quick bite to eat that is simple and not overpriced, then this is a great option. The chicken salad sandwich was very good.

I went in, ordered my Carmel Apple Spice. I was greeted with a smile and my order was taken and it was taken by a person with a personality, not so stiff. Ordered hot and was told to have a nice day...with a smile.

After walking 13,000 steps from Bureau of Engraving and Printing to Washington Monument to Lincoln Memorial past Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the way to walk past the White House, we found this great restaurant across from the Executive Offices Bldg on G Street - a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, soup and drinks - looks like a favorite for locals... Great fresh food, simply prepared, and good value. This is a great place for a travellers lunch nearby the big tourist sites.

Mediocre at best. Food is VERY greasy. Bacon is sub par and cheap looking. Skip the side of potatoes unless you want your entire order soaked in grease.

Good food, busy at lunch time but worth the short line. This was one of my sons favorites. He attended the Corcoran and this locally owned restaurant was just down the street.

My husband and I had lunch here today during a day of sightseeing in DC. it's very close to the White House. We had 2 sandwiches, 1 order of fries, and 2 drinks for $25. The food was pretty good, but the employees we're inattentive at best, and in some cases downright rude. I was completely ignored when I tried... More

I work across the street and go here often; I have yet to be disappointed. My favorite sandwich at the moment is the Cubano. Spicy and delicious. Great assortment of sandwiches, curry plates, salads, quesadillas, etc. Choices aren't "the usual" you find at other places. Eat here!

Always crowded, always good. A wide array of options, usually with a twist. Worth a visit and a revisit.
