Called in for breakfast while visitibg from the uk. Managed to get seated straight away which was lucky as there was a long queue shortly afterwards. Plenty of breakfast options (most of which we didnt understand as the US breakfast differs so much from the UK) Had eggs toast and a large bowl of fruit. Nice food, friendly service.

Got a reservation for 3:45 on a Wednesday, and it was already packed, loud and delicious!! The cornbread, devilish eggs and a Constitution cocktail began the feast, and were much enjoyed by our table. The bacon pasta, soup and butternut squash ravioli were to die for. We got 1 piece of carrot cake to go, generous servings for 4 people, very... More

Ate breakfast here on a Monday morning. I thought the service would be better as the restaurant was not too busy. There is a large selection of breakfast dishes, but, the old fashioned ham and eggs was not available due to a ham shortage. How could a restaurant that serves a very good breakfast be out of ham. I thought... More

So glad our party was able to grab a table later than normal. Our server was great and knew everything on the menu in detail. We all tried something different and were extremely pleased. The local craft beer was great too. Highly recommend to everyone regardless what you are in the mood to eat.

The food was amazing and staff amazing as well. Slight mix up with our reservations, but staff more than made up for that. The corn bread is fabulous.

Surprisingly busy / crowded (!) even on weekdays evenings. But quality of food is worth the waiting. Didn't reserve - is smart to do so! - but were still able to have a good time, waiting and chatting with people around the central bar area. Once we got chairs, we truly enjoyed the food. Really high quality, taste, honest food.... More

First of all amazing cheeseburger and maple old fashioned cocktail. I was starving after marching for Earth Day 2017 and wanted some real food. Found this place swarmed. The staff was calm and professional. We were on a 2 hour waiting list. I grabbed a seat from the bar after visiting the bathroom got 2 drinks and a burger to... More

We met these ladies at the Valley Forge Rev Run and must say we are looking forward to the opening in King of Prussia. The granola is absolutely amazing and the menu looks very enjoyable! It will be a great addition to the Town Center.

My wife and I had breakfast here after two previous unsuccessful attempts and only after making a reservation the day before. This place is extremely popular and there is almost always a crowd at reception waiting for an available table. The food is wholesome and organic. We had the Founding Father's breakfast: eggs, bacon ( or sausage), toast and fruit... More

Description
Founding Farmers, the Greenest Restaurant in DC, is owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU, serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch. While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn't mean we know every farm, and that doesn't mean we never have to buy product from the traditional (corporate) supply chain, but it does mean we're working hard to direct our purchasing dollars where it aligns with our values. We're serving the best food we can, made from scratch in our kitchens every day. Our innovative, American dishes are made primarily with pure ingredients honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty.
