Sunday night in DC, Chinatown and thereabouts, almost 11 PM, we discover our dinner options are mostly closed already, confined to takeout cold cut sandwiches and chips at the Quickie Mart or captive to the extortion-level prices of DC hotel room service. Ah.... We stumble...More

This was one of several restaurants that we dined at in Chinatown while attending a recent event at the nearby convention center. Despite stopping through on a crowded and busy Saturday night, service was great. We were quickly seated, our orders were taken shortly after...More

Chinatown, Washington DC isn't particularly known for great Chinese food. And, that is true for Wok and Roll....though the dishes we had were quite good to rate as comfort food. Sea bass stir fry with Chinese broccoli (gai lan) were done in excellent fashion. Service...More

We really enjoyed the sampler appetizer. Great General Tso's Chicken. We stopped in for a late night snack, and found everything very satisfied. The service was great, and they even have an interesting karaoke area upstairs. We opted out of that, as it was too...More

Salt and pepper quail was delicious but the other dishes were average. Place is pretty cheap so that's a plus. Lunch specials are great deals but once again was very average.More

While I'm glad you enjoyed the salt and pepper quail, Daniel, I do wish the other dishes had made the same great impression. I'll certainly keep this feedback in mind, and in the meantime, I hope I get the chance to welcome you back again...More

This could have been as much my fault as the restaurants. You know what you like in Chinese food and then are disappointed when the places you go to don't meet that expectation. This was a small crowded restaurant and we were a party of...More

We stopped by for a late afternoon bowl of Udon Soup. We ordered the barbecue pork udon soup. The pork was flavorful, the seaweed distinctive and the broth deep and rich. This was a delicious meal and we highly recommend it.More

I'm delighted our barbecue pork soup was the perfect post-lunch, pre-dinner fuel, Michael! It's awesome you noticed the deep flavor that the seaweed added to the broth, too -- I'm very impressed with your taste buds. Looking forward to satisfying your late afternoon udon cravings...More

Most condiments are gluten free, you would have to ask the server, or if they have the menu online to see if you are able to eat anything from it. My friend does gluten free and eats Chinese food quite a bit
