We ate on the rooftop terrace. My garlic shrimp came with a spoonful of rice and a few soggy vegetables. My husband's lamb had the same amount of rice! The worst experience was when, at the end of the meal, I visited the washroom. On exiting a waitress was standing there, with her hand extended DEMANDING money for using the... More

Went with a group of 8. Live music as in most restaurants in Cuba and excellent group. Starter of pate followed by the best lobster I have eaten for a long time. Fresh and simply grilled and the other 5 who had this agreed. Good service and drinks (wine and beer ) reasonably priced. Family run restaurant and quality of... More

Pleasant lunch, soup was lovely as was the main course but the ice cream was a bit of a let down. This restaurant can get quite full and with no air conditioning and limited fans it's quite hot and sweaty and flies are a pain. Only one toilet for both men and women so be prepared to queue.

Had a beautiful gourmet lunch with our tour group. We had soft sweet tasting bread with a local pate or dip to start, followed by a seafood soup which was delicious. The main event was the lobster which was fantasic. My husbands was huge. It was cooked very well and presented beautifully. It was washed down with a couple of... More

This was a pleasant lunch stop with lobster as part of the set meal offered to our tour group. The restaurant was full which made life a bit more tricky but nonetheless this was acceptable quality and quantity.

Located right across the Cantero House , this is a very convenient place to have lunch ( and also dinner if you prefer) . Shrimp is exceptionally good. The food is very good, the people are very friendly, the band is nice, the owner is a wonderful lady. Good choice if you are looking for a restaurant in downtown Trinidad.

Very tastefully appointed place with a nice menu. Friendly service. Flies from the outside are a real problem.

Found this restaurant quite by accident. The food was excellent, had lamb slow cooked, fell off the bone. This was their special of the day. The overall cost of a meal for 2 plus drinks was some of the cheapest we had found in Trinidad especially based on the quality. Service was also very good.

I ran into this restaurant while looking for some place to have lunch, and I did not regret of my choice. I found it to be a cozy tiny restaurant with a nice roof upstairs to enjoy the great Cuban weather. The place is run by a lovely couple, the husband being from Spain and the wife from Cuba. I... Oh my god, this place makes great sandwiches. We enjoyed shrimp, chicken and cheese sandwiches in the back courtyard of this restaurant. The cheese was absolutely one of the best cheese sandwiches we ate during our two weeks in cuba. As is to be expected, they include cabbage and tomato, but the bread is fresh and the main ingredients are... More
