We popped into La Nueva Era for a rest and pick me up just before midday, the owner kindly turned on and repositioned the fans to help us cool down, we were the only people there. Then the band sidled over to us .... I'm not a lover of musicians in such close proximity .... but these guys were fantastic!

Good service, waitress very friendly. We had a good meal the first day and went back the 2nd evening. More tasty meat and fish than other restaurants we have been in cuba. Live music completed the good atmosphere in this nice decorated place. Just around the corner of the plaza/stairs.

This restaurant looks like a classic tourist trap, but actually serves pretty good food. Prices are average and service was good.

We went for dinner and were seated in an outside courtyard. That was pleasant until we noticed a live crocodile caged near us. It was not so much that it was near us, but the fact that it was a small cage and there was no water of food in the cage. We should have been warned by the dead... More

You will no doubt struggle to find decent food in Trinidad- this is one of the restaurants that wont offer you decent food- so save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere! Tough pork, no real flavour with bland veggies...

We called in for drinks at lunchtime, and found the cocktails and service very good. Unfortunately we did not try the food but lots of the clientele were eating and seemed to enjoy the food. Soon after we arrived a band began to play, good quality music, entertaining singer and not the standard Cuban stuff! The only downside was the... More

Are there really voted best of, by Tripadvisor for the years 2015 and 2016? And also by the Routard for the years 2012-2013-2014? Well if so I won’t agree or people do not know what they have been eating. My experience is that the service is unfriendly, slow and they look at us like people that can be fooled and... More

Just average food for the price. The room in front is much nicer then the rest. Portions and service are OK, but noting was really very tasteful

It looked good - a courtyard and upper terrace. Just what my Chicas and I wanted. But ..... The menu may as well have had numbers with no description for all the good it was. I mean - Salade Italian. Well it was cold spaghetti carbonara and not proper carbonara either. To say that something is 'Trinidad style' means nothing... More
