Seriously the BEST roast dinner we have EVER had in any establishment. Loads of beautifully cooked fresh vegetables to say nothing of the delicious and generous meat and gravy

We stopped here for lunch before the ferry went out. The gentleman behind the counter was not having a good day. Very cranky. He always came back at you with an attitude. We ordered the seafood chowder and fish and chips. The chowder was the best I have had on the southern island. Loaded with salmon & mussels. It was... More

This place just keeps getting better, a quiet beer, clean and tidy. Great to sit outside and enjoy the sun.

The kitchen serves a variety of hardy meals. While the T&W does have some of the best drink prices in Picton they also have... More

Have visited the Toot and Whistle regularly with family, as meals were always good value, although not flash, and service had always been good. But our recent visit was definitely our last. No-one wants to hear A "loud Banshee" using the most foul language to discipline a staff member . Atmosphere here has gone from great to "ZERO"
