A solid fish and chippery, perhaps a bit on the salty side but nothing surprising there. A short walk away from the beautiful waterfront, the two paired together make for a satisfying cheap eat experience.

Excellant food for a takeaway. Very busy with one lady doing all the work but well worth the wait. Visited on 2 occasions on our 2 stopovers. Burgers are huge and tasty. Chips yummy. Recommend and will definitely call in on another visit.

After a drive over from Nelson we where lucky enough to stop next to this Fish n Chip shop, nice selection of fish to choose from and good value for money size of the fish was really good, could see that its a nice clean kitchen and watching the fish fillets been battered. The view while you wait is nice... More

We needed a quick feed and got out fish and chips fix here. Kids loved it and we did too. It's greasy, oily and what fish and chips is all about. The Kumara chips were good too (just if you wanna be healthy 😂😂). Definitely do an order while you are visiting this little town.

We dined on a busy Saturday evening, there was a wait of about 20 minutes that was well worth it. Staffed by one amazingly efficient lady in a fresh and spotless kitchen. You order the fish of your choice that is battered in front of you. Amazing!!!!

There was a good range of fish and the food was good, not too greasy and plenty of it. I recommend the place.

We got fish and chips (kumara) and it was by far the best we had in NZ. The batter was just right and stuck to the fish without flaking off. The chips were amazing and well worth the extra bit of money. I would recommend trying them out if you are in the area.

After arriving late we decided to get takeaways. We had recommended butter fish which was delicious, although they were very busy and we had to wait it was worth the wait.
