A really nice place near the city centre. Food was great, prices low. You might have to wait for a table. Or just share one ;) I would go again.

Located in a cellar in the old town this is just what to expect when you visit Riga. The food is traditional Latvian - heay, lots of pork and just lovely. They offer a very big variety of beer, spirits and cocktails, although I would recommend sticking to beer, not just for all Latvian selection but to be fair, they're... More

After finally making our way into the restaurant (quite confusing entrance) we arrived in a dark cellar type room full of locals drinking and eating. All dishes and drinks are authentic Latvian and the overall experience alone is worth going for. Ps. Our waitress was an absolute worldy.

Looks like usual pub, but have more space than it seems outside. Old wall and arched ceiling make a special atmosphere. Food also have to do with old Latvian traditions - lot of beer and meat.

Great food, amazing atmosphere, lots of different types of beers. The bar man spoke execelent English and was very helpful when it came to choosing beers and food. We plan to go back again before we leave.

Booked for dinner on Sunday night and did not disappoint. Had the 1kg pork hock and our fantastic waiter was on hand to recommend matching beers and suggestions throughout the evening. A band played that night and they were fantastic. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

It's a fusion between modern and traditional bar restaurant. The people are kind and smile. The food and beer are very good. Is located down the street in like a dungeon, it's nice place. The prices are from 5-10€ the main dish an the beer is around 3.5€ the half liter. It's served traditional food. Recommended.

We usually try different restaurant during our stays abroad. This is an exception to the rule. Over our weekend in Riga we ate there 4 times and always satisfied. The place gets packed quickly but we were always lucky enough to get a decent spot for our meal. Food is good and service fast.

Amazing beer selection. Food was good too. Very busy place so reservations are probably recommended for groups.
