Very central and very medieval. No spoons for the soup, no forks for meat. with a very colorful ”landlady”. But their soup is really delicious. As well as beer. No electricity. Only candles. For sure one of the most remarkable places i visited ever.

Charming restaurant, very nicely lit for a romantic dinner - even if it's not served on fine china! And the service, let's just say don't mess about! Loved it

If you're into fancy stuff not the place for you. Medieval style, candles light only, landlady was very serious about her position creating a nice interaction. Had ribs, soup and mulled wine - everything so good. "Fishing"the pickles from the barrel was also very fun...More

Opon hearing that this was a very touristy eatery I was still very interested in visiting as I love any medieval or dark age buildings. It's a great little place with beautiful pastries at a very impressive price. We all had the beef pastry and...More

Ill Draakon is a small restaurant on the Olde Hansa side of Tallinn's Town Hall square. It is very dark inside, lit only by candlelight, and has a medieval theme. The staff wear period dress, the food and drinks come in earthenware pots and there...More

Waited in line for over 35 minutes in the biting cold and was very disappointed with the food and drink on offer. Whilst the building itself is super quirky, the food was overpriced and tasteless. You can get fair better food if you go to...More

Me and my wife decided to visit this place for dinner as it seemed like out of the norm thing to do. The atmosphere and look is really something else. Don’t expect a fine dining experience this is a do it yourself kind of dining....More

I doubt that, as they didn't know about gluten in 1453. But it's more of a place where you go for a quick lunch, so it won't take long to figure that out. They got soup (mostly meat, you gotta ask), pies (like a shepherd's... More

Located under the 12th Century Raekoda (Town Hall) building in the main square of Old Town Tallinn, Kolmas Dragon (or the Third Dragon) is a small medieval-themed tavern. This charming eatery with its beautiful-period interior is hosted daily by a group of petulant housekeepers whose job it is to entertain all-comers with their brusque and rude service manner. However this is all purely theatrical - a style that is closer to the behaviour that one would have received in the medieval ages. Specialities that are served include beef ribs, elk soup, savoury pastries, pickles from a barrel, teas, wines and the famous house beer. All those who enter should therefore be ready for not only tasty foods and beverages but also to some exceptionally entertaining service.
