I loved this place, from the moment I opened the door and walked down the stairs into the basement bar/restaurant. The beer menu is as long and varied as the content of a Dostoevsky novel, including about four pages of just Estonian beers. Estonia only...More

Obviously the pork was still partly frozen when it hit the pan. This is quite unforgivable as it's an obvious health risk. Still, the selection of beers was excellent - just stick with those. You can't get tapeworms from beer. The restaurant also has a...More

We made a spontaneous decision to eat here one night and glad we did. The bar is down a flight of steep steps into a vaulted ceiling bar. Extensive beer menu and also you can buy wine in 50cl carafes. Waitresses were excellent, service was...More

This is nice restaurant for sitting with friends. I've never tried the food here, so no clue about that, but the atmosphere is nice in the historical basement. The stairs are not suitable for drunken people, so don't drink too much. When you visit, you...More

Because the restaurant was heavily booked we had to take an early evening booking meaning that the atmopshere was a little subdued. Some of the items on the menu were not available which was a little disappointing especially as the menu was quite limited. The...More

The bar-lady at Koht recommended me to go this place to have a Koduõlu-type of beer. Best advice ever. It's more like a gastro-pub than a beer-bar, located in an arched basement. The room has terrible acoustics, but the food (chicken and potato mash), the...More

We all really enjoyed our lunch here! The chef made plain chicken and noodles specially for our son and our other children enjoyed the pork chops and chicken breast with wine sauce. The smoked duck breast was very tasty and tender. All at a goos...More

Nice restaurant and lovely waitress. The best chicken I've probably ever eaten! It was delicious. The atmosphere was nice as well, felt a bit medieval.

This is an amazing place that is hidden away behind a church (Põrgu is an Estonian word that means Hell). Yes, a church. After a long day praying for your sins you can go and sin a bit more as forgiveness is just a few...More

It's hard to tell what this place is like from the outside but it's worth the trip if beer is your thing. There's a vast beer list, the food menu is also worth exploring. Only downside is that the venue is quite dark and a...More

Believe it or not, but it’s good to be in „Pórgu“. An unbelievably large selection of draught beers and their bottled cousins, unearthly delicious à la carte dishes and an almost holy atmosphere. All this makes „Pórgu“ seem like a paradise on earth, where you can feel free and let yourself be carried away by tasting pleasure. *pórgu in english - hell
