Very professional and warm service. The starters (goat cheese, roe) were among the best for years in my restaurant experience. Main course were good. We are pleased to come back soon again.

This restaurant is one of the highlights of my trip. The staff have always been accommodating - it is amazing how helpful they are when you are polite and patient. I come at off-peak hours and have always been given a spot. This time I...More

I had this restaurant recommended to me by an Estonian colleague, and must say that Leib Resto was well worth the visit. A warm welcome on arrival, we were looked after very attentively throughout the evening. The twin themes are excellent but affordable wines combined...More

Imaginative locally sourced and seasonal cooking. We went for selection of the starters that shared amongst us accompanied by the local bread.

I had high expectetations for Leib, and was not disappointed. I knew the restaurant to hone local ingredients and traditional Estonian cuisine, and the menu with all this was well delivered. It seemed to be a favorite spot for young people, small groups and couples...More

We had a great vegetarian lunch here in August. The outdoor seating area was unique and comfortable. The food was outstanding. The waitstaff was a bit on the young/experienced side, but they were attentive enough and the food was not delayed as other reviewers have...More

For Christmas dinner I recommend Leib ja Resto very much. It was busy night, but the atmosphere was great. Especially the entry to that Old Town building, great lighting in snow in winter time. Every meal was great. They using lot of Estonian product and...More

Hyvä ravintola kauniissa ympäristössä. Pihalla Sean Conneryn patsas vahtii sisäänpääsyä. Ruoka oli erittäin hyvin tehty. Fantastic food and friendly and helpful service. Order your table in advance. The place is often full.

Leib is well known and has a good name. The location in Old Town inner court is also very nice. But the dining experience did not unfortunately match the expectations and the nice surroundings. Biggest disappointments were the unsure and amateurish service and the constant...More

Leib is run by two professional foodies - a chef and a sommelier. Having our own restaurant is a dream come true for both of us. Leib means black bread in Estonian and we have chosen it to be our name for a reason! Good old local black bread - fresh, warm, simple, and honest - it's what we, Estonians, grow up with and what we dream about when away. It's what we are, really. Good bread is always made with soul. We are passionate about sharing goodies from our homeland. We work with local farmers and fishermen to create delicious yet simple dishes. Since most of our ingredients are local, the menu is always seasonal. Less is more- therefore our menu is compact and constantly changing. Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a true gastronomic delight. Leib - soulful casual dining!
