Before our visit to Tallinn we had shortlisted several restaurants but had not booked ahead. On the first day of our visit we decided to seek out Leib and possibly book for the following night, but to our surprise we were lucky to be offered...More

We were lucky to find this place on our vacation trip to Tallinn. Food is really good and we enjoyed every bite! Especially try their schnapps, those are good :) Remember to make a table reservation beforehand.

Excellent but expensive fish, the restaurant is set away from the city, there is inside and outside dining. The service great from young holiday staff, the kitchen was visible adding to the ambience. The portions were about right, I would suggest there was a local...More

its location is little complex but you will be excited once you found out this restaurant. It is very nice, casual, cozy. Fine Food. All staff were friendly but quality were avreage, unfortunately.

Visited Leib Resto ja Aed after quite a long time and had to admit, it's definately one of the best restorans in Tallinn still. Rather a short menu from mainly fresh Estonian ingredients. Had a sturgeon with green vegetables, it was really delicious fresh summery...More

In Tallinn restaurants have very different characters. Leib was a good choice indeed. Local ingredients and chefs knowing what they do are what you find here. Nice and friendly service. I recommend Leib!

It was nice, fresh local ingredients and good familiar tastes. Nothing suprising except the beautiful garden. The dishes were a bit small, if you eat only main course, you will be hungry. In Tallin you can find better value for money.

You do need to book. We were slightly disappointed in Lieb, maybe started badly when they couldn't find our reservation (which we definitely made!) and then tried to rush our meal. Food lovely though - pan fried pike perch with creamed cauliflower and marinated onion;...More

We were greeted by a beautiful garden and warm weather. Garden has a lovely natural look and creates a private atmosphere. Menu is local, fresh and seasonal. Simple but still really interesting, made with heart and true passion. We tasted everything: starter, main and dessert,...More

Description
Leib is run by two professional foodies - a chef and a sommelier. Having our own restaurant is a dream come true for both of us. Leib means black bread in Estonian and we have chosen it to be our name for a reason! Good old local black bread - fresh, warm, simple, and honest - it's what we, Estonians, grow up with and what we dream about when away. It's what we are, really. Good bread is always made with soul. We are passionate about sharing goodies from our homeland. We work with local farmers and fishermen to create delicious yet simple dishes. Since most of our ingredients are local, the menu is always seasonal. Less is more- therefore our menu is compact and constantly changing. Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a true gastronomic delight. Leib - soulful casual dining!
