Very pleasant surprise.

We visited this restaurant last week & had a best seafood food in Hungary. The mussels & calamar (squid) were to die for & at such a reasonable price. The service was first class & attentive & the outside area was a great place to listen to the live music down the road & people watch. We highly recommend it & will, most definately eat here again. We were warmly welcomed and the waiters were polite all the time. They were not at all intrusive, but were there all the time to help. I would rate the food separately, but it is totally unnecessary as it was all quite excellent. We had sandwiches (flatbread), fruit soup, and when we saw that we couldn't eat three desserts, they smiled and served us a dessert with three cutlery. Not a cheap place, but every penny here is worth the price.

Cosy grill restaurant

We went to this place as Balkan Bistro faced "technical difficulties" for several days in a row. We had balkan food: chevap and cheese filled pleskavica. They tasted great. The portions were not huge, but OK. The waiter was friendly and the service was fast. The toilet is clean, rather plain, but OK.

We ordered 4 oysters, whole trout dish, squids, a salad and 2 ice teas. Although the waitress was patient and very polite, the rest of the service was miserable, they put absolutely no effort on any design or the beauty of dishes or glasses. The decoration was also very depressive. The oysters were so old that I had difficulty eating them even though I'm a huge oysters lover. The salad was probably the worst part of our experience there, it was very old and withered. We had to tell the waitress to change it, which she did but it was still bad. The dishes looked like the chef just threw the food on them without any thought of beautifying them. To be fair, we liked the squids and also the staff were quite polite. Would probably go back there because that's the only place in the city where they serve oysters.

If you enjoy eating surrounded by flies, that's the place to go... Selling Tiger Shrimp but clearly it isn't. Half the size it should be... industrial frozen shrimps. Could've also mentionned before ordering that we would have to peel ourselves the shrimps... would'nt have ordered it if we knew about that. Service was unattentive, for only 3 tables that night.

Worst meal I had in Hungary

Small fried fish starter was really oily. The octopus main course, the most expensive choice on the menu, was truly awful. If you can't buy in good quality ingredients and have no idea how to present it, take it off the menu.

Eat like by the sea

Extremly delicious food and drinks. We had fried small fishes, chevap and salad with a home made bread, all fresh and tasty. Also have seen the food served at the other tables which wanted us to taste everything from the menu 😉🙂 Will do it next time 🙂

Very good spot for eating right next to beautiful center of town scenery. The menu had good selection and the waitress informed us in advance of some menu items being unavailable. Service was great, and the food was also very tasty. Good prices.

A nice place to eat well in the middle of Pécs... a must try

A beautiful place but with a refined, delicate and very tasty cuisine. The menu is simple, however, for all tastes and the kitchen takes great care of the details. The service is nice and welcoming and even not knowing their mother tongue you feel welcomed. The environment is nice youthful, clean and cared for. When we would be next time in Pècs we definitely try to pass again.

Great family dinner

Had a great family dinner. The Flatbread starter was great. For mains we had the Paella, Fish soup and whole fish (Orada). Large portions with great quality. Very well priced. Worth a visit!

The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The portion sizes were great. The food tasted amazing and was really a taste experience. We were just there too early, so the food was still a bit cold. From 8pm it would be better:). It's small, that's why you either reserve or get lucky like us:). At the end of the evening you should hang your things outside, as they do not have a closed kitchen. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, which tasted very good.

Drop-in in rain

We came across this place during a heavy rain and didn’t regret it. Had oriental fish soup and some home-made pie filled with pork. Both were extremely tasty and the service was kind and polite. We also loved the interior of shabby chic.

If you are in a city with a Mediterranean atmosphere, it is worth visiting a Mediterranean restaurant. We recommend Blöff in every way: it is in the city center, they cook with excellent ingredients and the food is imaginative.

Mediterranean experience in the downtown

Very friendly and warm service and approach of waiters. Good dishes either you take a local or some seefood. The mussel soup is among the best I have eaten. But 'Pecsi szelet' fried 350 g pork is always unforgettable.
