So happy we were recommended this restaurant by our hotel front desk. We were welcomed warmly and seated quickly and had beverages in our hands within minutes. We sat in the front of the restaurant which had 4-5 tables in the general area with enough spacing so we weren’t so close to other tables. It looked like there was also a dining area at the back, but I did not venture that way. The decorations were friendly and it reminded me of a family members home with a nice setting. The food, we ordered multiple plates were all tasty. The small fried fish for an appetizer set the pace and our meat and chicken mains concluded a nice meal. I recommend this nice restaurant for a solid meal.

Balkan cafe with gorgeous food

I got a seat inside, without reservation, on a rainy Friday in December. It had a friendly, down-to-earth, cafe style. The glass of Karasica Cuvée from Pécs was fruity and delicious. It was also a very reasonable 550 HUF dl. I loved my lentil and potato moussaka- very tasty. I'd go back.

Wasn't open despite description

Hello Guys, we came into Pécs city center for lunch just because of your restaurant in the 38c heat. Please respect customers and correct ur opening hours! It's says on TA 12pm-7pm, on yourwall says from 4pm, and on the same time you have the OPEN DESCRIPTION Out on your door AT 1 pm ! Is very missleading and disapponting. It takes 2 sec to update ur opening hours .

Excellent Food and Staff

Arriving at the restaurant they seated us on the patio which was wonderful until it started to rain. They moved us inside in a flash and the food and service were excellent. We had a plate that had everything on it (hummus, everything and it was terrific). The wines were great and inexpensive. Overall a great find and experience.

Great restaurant in the centre of Pecs. Food excellent, and large and generous portions. Friendly waitress service. I recommend the Cevapcici. Lovely and loads of it! Indoor and outdoor seating.

Excellent food, professional service. Restoran is having a terrace / inner yard, which is providing a shadow in a hot summer. Food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. Very recommended.

- Vibe: 5/5. We sat outside and the decoration was so authentic that it really made us forget that we are really in the downtown of Pécs. I like that the background music was balkan music and not some radio. - Service: 5/5. Friendly and quick. - Portions: 5/5. large enough for a hungry person - Food: 4/5. For me it was good but nothing extravagant. Maybe bc balkan cuisine is represented in the hungarian cuisine so they are familiar to me as a hungarian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But if you come from far you may find it exotic - Prices 3/5: I think that despite of the large portions and the good vibe this place is overpriced with 10-15%

It is a very great place to eat traditional Balkanic foods. Lovely place and kind waiter in here. The food is delicious and big. The cost is little more than average.

Simply fantastic. Do not miss it if you visit Pécs! Try köfte, csevapcsicsi or pljeskavica, all of them are superb. Service is also good and friendly.
