It's small, but oho. The food tastes suuuuuuper delicious. The restaurant is super located so you can relax in the sun or sit in the rain. You can’t decide at all because it’s also super beautiful in there and the plant life makes it so cosy. Even the toilets are a highlight. It looks really special and it tastes good. The desserts looked great too. Beer they have other tastes, which is also totally worth tasting.

I will start by admiting, I'm not a vegan and not even a vegetarian. I do enjoy vegetables and good food without meat so I thought why not give this place a try? I was wrong. The food that we tried here was without any taste. I like falafels with tahini sauce, but here they don't have a taste, they are dry, no sauce . My partner tried the red burger. The bun was inedible, dry, tasted like a 100% wholewheat bun without yeast. No sauces except for a tiny amount of honey mustard. You can ask for extra sauces though. The best food was the coleslaw salad.

Good vegan bistro

A type of place that doesn't only preach its values of veganism, care for the environment and so on. Even though I'm not a vegan and not a hardcore green person, I really liked the restaurant's dedication. They use metal straws, recycled materials and so on. Also, the atmosphere and the place is very nice. The food is all right, I didn't find it spectacular and it's not something to write home about, but it's definitely good.

One of my favorite places in Pécs. Only vegan food, the cakes tastes great. The vegan hamburgers are the "musttastethis" cathegory. Even meat-eathers can get a good expression!

The place looks nice, green and vegan and hipster. We arrived on a quiet time and ordered a lemonade, two coffee and a lunch dish. When we tried to talk to one of the three people staff he ignored us and looked away. There was only one other table with guests so it wasn't a busy excuse. How rude. The sad part was that when the owner arrived there was a change within the staff and all went from zombie mode in working mode. Unfortunately after 20m no lemonade and no coffee we left the place to enjoy the true 5* @balkanbiztro in the same street. The owner followed us and was very friendly and was really appriciated. We gave him the feedback why we left and hope next time we can give the place a 5* rating.

The Best All Day Long!

It was one unforgettable day in Pecs. LYR became essential part of it =)) During hot daytime it offered to us great quality cold brew coffee. After we had visited main sightseeings, LYR greeted us with delicious vegan burgers, home-made syrup limonade and magnificent cakes. Thanks to warm approach of people who work there, the place has special friendly atmosphere. Thank you for that experience!

awesome experience with Lyr! we spent 3 days in Pécs, enjoying Lyr's hospitality on each day. tasty food, very polite staff! a classic "must-try"! we had breakfast, lunch and dinner as well, also drinks (delicious unique craft beers are available!) - everything was amazing quality! definitely would recommend them.

I have been missing a place of this kind for very, very long in Pécs since my previous favourite café closed down on the main square. But hell, let's not compare the two, you can't. So my favourite kind of place is where you can stop for a coffee, or a quick, light, street-food style meal or a good soup, and you have a pleasant atmosphere with people who don't just serve you, but care about you, care about their job, their stuff, their place and make the whole thing REAL. This IS the place in Pécs. Lyr has a lovely staff and, it is important to note, excellent coffee! Respect this, because great coffee is really not easy to find in Hungary. I went there not knowing they are a vegetarian place, I like to eat a lot of stuff and I wasn't disappointed. And their meals are a really great value - you can dine here something awesome, freshly made food at the price of a fast-food junkmeal menu. By the way, they are located at the most atmospheric little square of Pécs. Accidentally finding it was the high point of our day. Absolutely recommended.
