Bunch of coffee varieties

A pleasant cafe in centre with great cakes and coffee and excellent old school interior with a large selection of wines

Spot for a drink

If you are wondering through Pecs and need a spot to sit and get a drink, then this is a good option. The waitress was friendly and helpful. She spoke good English. It is along the pedestrian street in the heart of Pecs. They have about any alcohol you can imagine. Looking at the wall of bottles is impressive.

Awesome and luxurious looking bar near the city center. Wide variety of wines and spirits. We we there for wine and beer. Wanted to try their tapas also but the menu was very limited.

Extraordinary Bar - great ambiente

I discovered this bar accidentially walking around in the center of Pecs. Most bars are in the Kiraly ut. Even if it was empty during a weekday it was not boring for me as there is a lot to see. For me - and I am travelling all oder Europe it is one of the "special bars" which are rare to find and which don't exist everywhere. Le Gourmet is specialized in Whisky and Wine. They habe around 100 Whiskys to taste and about 100 to buy. Prices to drink were reasonable. They have another 100 liquors and wine and Bitburger from the tap. For eating they offer only cheese or cheese and ham- plate (Hungarian but Serrano-style) but it was good and much and fit perfectly to the wine. I am looking forward to return there one day. By the way: if you like it you should see also the Botterhal in Breda NL, De Waag in Delft NL and Brasserie Apelmans/Absinth Bar in Antwerp. They play in the same league.
