The food here was great, I had pizza and seafood linguine over my two visits. The staff were very helpful English menu. They have a wood fired oven and busy at weekends so may need to book, you can sit outside.

The food here was great, I had pizza and seafood linguine over my two visits. The staff were very helpful English menu. They have a wood fired oven and busy at weekends so may need to book, you can sit outside.

Over the years from the time it was a small pizzeria in citrom utca until today this restaurant has always served high quality Italian food. We have been visiting over the years and have never been disappointed! This was my final day in Pecs this summer and I wanted to salute it with a good Italian dinner. The food, the wines, the service, the ambiance’s - it all met high expected expectations. This evening was beef evening. Started with a perfect carpaccio and ended with a lovely and tasty chocolate soufflé. I can only give the highest score for this dinner!

I’ve had an hour to kill so popped in for some sparkling water and maybe a salad. The waiter brought out two large soda water bottles, and was obnoxious like he’s doing favours serving us. My mum chose to eat nothing he was pulling faces for. Genuinely not recommending this place. About to get served the salad and I wish I didn’t ordered. The soda water (not sparkling mineral ) took 10 minutes to come to our table. It’s 3pm the place maybe 20% at capacity. Salad was 2/10.

- Friendly staff. - Menu is on the expensive side. - Had prawn tagiatelle and beef and goose liver tagiatelle. Prawn one was excellent and prawn fresh, however portion was small compared to price. It was also inconvenient to have the prawn tail in there. Beef tagiatelle was just good.

I a reservation in order to celebrate my birthday with my friends. I called the restaurant 5 days before the dinner was supposed to happen, and everything seemed fine. However, there must have been a miscommunication, as the restaurant had not heard of the reservation. I do understand that mistakes happen, but I am not satisfied with the way that the restaurant handled it. The waiter who spoke to me said “sorry” very briskly, and did not seem to take any responsibility over the situation. I’ve also eaten here previously, and the food it very good. However, I have not been satisfied with their costumer service.

Great food at a cozy place

Great location, perfect Italian food, calm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, this place run by an experienced team is well worth a visit (or more). Try their soups, pastes, steaks, all very good stuff. I have not tried their pizza and sweets but those seem popular choice too. The only weak spot is the (un)hygienic (khmmm) lavatory which is probably shared with other businesses in the building; a responsible owner would be welcome... But everybody knows the common horse and the scars on his back. Otherwise, this restaurant is a must if you go to Pécs. Highly recommended.

2 business dinners in one week. As normal food very good, staff great and knowledgeable on wine and food. If anything only issues was time of service the food took a while to come out. Other than that as good as normal! Great to eat out doors

Great pizza!

I must admit that when I read that they had the only wood-oven in town, I thought it would be a tourist trap... Well, I was wrong. The pizza they serve is pretty great and I was surprised. Definitely recommended. The service is also very friendly and they have a nice outside terrace to enjoy.

Best pizza in a long time. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating. They are very good at English. We sat almost near the pizza oven and it was fascinating to watch how they had worked there. The restaurant is really recommended. It's also popular, which is why I would reserve.

We have been coming to this restaurant for more than two years, unfortunately its quality is deteriorating very fast. Actually, we had already decided not to go there for several weeks because of the very but very neglected and filthy toilets. Broken and empty soap pumps, paper dispensers, no toilet paper. And also pointed this out to our always friendly waiter. Yesterday we went for lunch with visitors anyway. What a disappointment, the food is served on damaged plates, the risotto with salmon was undercooked, the salmon was very sparse, the portions almost halved and the price increased. The pizza, as always, was delicious. And the service as always friendly. Unfortunately, the state of the toilet is even worse than last time! Price/quality is totally out of proportion. Pity but we will not come here again.

Located in the town center, we choose this restaurant by chance, and it was a really pleasant surprise We order mussels (cozze al pomodoro) and they were delicious, tagliolini with sea food and grilled seafood everything was so tasty that also in italy is difficult to find such a good quality, higly recommended with affordable prices
