Food was rather bland with a slice of spicy paprika helping a bit. Service was rather unresponsive to say the least. They were fast to serve drinks but when it came to main course we had to wait almost an hour. Portions were large, a...More

- the first time there was ok (the waiters were ok, the portions were huge, the roast beef was magnificent); - after only two days we went there for a second time: this time we ordered only one food portion of that roast beef, since...More

Called in here on the recommendation of someone I work with, but he didn't warn me about the portion sizes!!! I had the beef goulash, my partner had the fried camembert and my daughter had fish and chips. Mine was probably the only one that...More

Fatal is a restaurant my wife and friends frequented 20 years ago whilst teaching English as a foreign language. The main restaurant has character and everything is served on wooden plates (supposedly this is what Fatal means). The food definitely isn't fancy but you get...More

I went there with a friend loking to fuel our energy for the city visit. The staff was nice and helpful. The portions are large and well prepared. If you are hungry I would recommend the Farmer's pot. Overall great experience. I will visit again...More

Really great food with excellent levels of service. It set in a great building and is popular so pre-booking is often required. Eaten here a few times with Hungarian friends and have recommended a number of visiting friends to try it out and never had...More

Very central located. Nice place. Big portions but really tasty food. We ordered a gulash and a mushroom soup for starter and a snitzel. We couldn't finish it. Value for money. The staff would be a little more polite though.

I came here on my own. The waiter quickly found me a table. He was very attentive and spoke good English. The menu has quite a array of choices including many traditional Hungarian dishes. I had the fish and chips and enjoyed them. I received...More
