I chose this restaurant as it had heated outdoor seating and was busy. I arrived for an early dinner at 6.15pm on a Saturday and got seated straight away. People arriving around 7pm were getting turned away and advised of a 45 minute wait. I...More

Once upon the time it was a hidden place, known for friendly staff and good food. This has changed to one more touristic place where only fast money matters. Though the food is on a normal and still acceptable level - same can be found...More

Fatál is a great representative of the Hungarian kitchen. You can find here all famous and very tasteful local dishes,. The portions are big, even huge. If you start with first course, most likely you will carry a doggy bag home part of the main...More

Don't want to think too much about this attrotious place ever again. The food.... nothing fresh and 'tinned spagetti ffs' was the highlight...... really. If I had received the same level of service in my home country i would be disgusted. In fact i would...More

Nice food and HUGE portions. As one cannot share a dish, best order a normal dish plus a salad for the second person. 2 Aperol Spritz, 0.5 L of housewine, 2 dishes, 1 dessert, coffee and mineral water for below € 50.- - one cannot...More

Brilliant Hungarian food and huge portions. We are so glad we stopped here. We were served quickly and the food was really well presented. The biggest Schnitzel I’ve seen! We definitely recommend this restaurant. They were busy so offered us to sit in the corridor...More

The food is pretty good. Pretty large portions and very tasty. However, the service is Slow unfortunately and the meals could have been hotter. What did catch me out and annoyed me intensely is the fact they don’t take cards. Probably the only place in...More

We were recommended by a local person to have a dinner at this place. Though it’s a bit touristic, the food was good and tasty and the portions were too big. Recommendation- order the schnitzel and share with at least one person.

Had a great dinner with good old friends and we all appreciated the large tasty portions of Hungarian food.

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,

Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

It would be a good idea but probably not necessary. We visited on a week night and it was very busy, but there are lots of tables. The waiters will probably try to tell you the manager doesn't allow them to serve tap-water... More
