We booked a table for Lucky 7 in advance and this was definitely not a mistake! Upon arrival there was already a long queue outside of people waiting to be seated. We advise that if you wish to visit this place, you book a table.
The staff at the restaurant were very attentive. The restaurant is rather on the small side but the tables aren't too close together. The restaurant kindly offers free WiFi for patrons and has the password displayed on the table and the menu.
The food was great; you can customise your own meal and the prices are good value.
The restaurant is in a good location as it is close to the river and not too far from tourist visitor hot spots.

Came here for lunch on our last day in Budapest. You queue outside until a table is available, it's a little chilly but we didn't wait long. We were seated and then a few others were seated afterwards. We waited a fair while before our drinks order was taken and others that arrived after us had their drinks taken straight away which was a little strange
Seating area is small and only 2 people waiting tables so make sure you have plenty of time.Menu is pretty simple but they have a variety of burgers on offer. We opted for a cheeseburger and a chicken burger, they both came as a meal with drinks and chips the prices were cheap.
Burgers were a good size, portion size for the chips was a little small, only as you don't get salad or any extras with your meal. Still good for a quick lunch.

And a very delicious one. Went with my wife and stepdaughter as we had had traditional for a few days and sometimes you just want a burger! There are many burger places in Hungary, but looking at the reviews, the good ones are few and far between.
And since burgers have evolved from the initial very simplistic formula, we took no chances based on reviews and headed for Lucky 7’s!
Having spend an entire day at a tattoo parlor, I was not hungry, but hungry-hungry or evening simpler put; Fungry!
They had a special, the zombie burger, which consisted of two paddies, bit of Mac n cheese, onions, tomatoes and a bacon dressing.
Wife had walked all day and wanted the same, stepdaughter had gorged herself on chimney cakes and wanted fries and a shake.
The waitresses are friendly, smiling and will answer any question you might have about the food.
Food came quite quick and we tucked in! The burgers are good here! Lots of flavor and nice balance in different condiments. Only thing that stopped this from getting five stars, was despite claiming burgers are being done medium, both of ours were well done, not a sight of pink inside. Had they taken them off just 1 min earlier everything would’ve been perfect, but luckily the quality of the meat is good and they did not dry out.
Zombie burger is huge and lucky me got half of the wife’s as she struggled, I was only glad to finish hers. As mentioned earlier, being at the tattoo parlor earlier meant I had only gotten breakfast, otherwise I might also had struggled a bit, because it was a big burger.

Really tasty burgers with a most excellent service. The restaurant was full when we arrived but the waitress told us we could wait outside where they have tables with heaters and blankets on the chairs. Once inside the restaurant, you have REAL pictures of all tje burgers, so no tricks when choosing your meals. This restaurant is a MUST GO.

Got the zombie burger, onion rings, and drink based on what I read from other reviews. My god, the burger had Mac and cheese as a topping. I'm so full I need to lie down. I typically eat burgers with my hands (like a true American) but the burger was so loaded I ended up surrendering to a fork and knife.
Staff was extremely nice and food came out pretty quick, even for larger tables.
WiFi and wireless chargers are a plus as well, even if I didn't use them!

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming on arrival to this restaurant. The staff were very helpful with explaining the specialty burgers and offering us help if required. The burgers arrived quite quickly and were absolutely delicious two empty plates from us. Highly recommend the zombies burger or the ham burger and are reasonable for the meal received. Impressed with how clean the bathroom was and the restaurant in general and the added facilities of phone chargers and free WiFi are a nice touch. Will definitely return to this restaurant when we return to Budapest 😄 keep up the good work guys!

We’ve just had two burgers meal here and they were both absolutely delicious (we always go 50/50!) the coleslaw was SO good. I’d go as far as to say the best coleslaw I’ve actually eaten. The price was really reasonable too, £24 for two burgers, side and a drink each, considering you pay £10 for just one burger at five guys and this was way tastier. Great value for money. The restaurant is only small, but really cute and the waitress was super friendly. Shame we are only in Budapest for a couple of days as we defo would of come back.

We came here for the burger but we fell in love with the Goulash soup. Yeah someone can say you went to a Burger place and you ate Goulash. Yes we did. And it was amazing. Also the burger was medium cooked (like i wanted it) with fresh salad (and i underline fresh). Staff was amazing. Polite and attentive. Great experience. Recommended...

The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. There is a very reasonable meal deal on the menu where you get a burger, side and drink for about £10. My partner had the pulled pork burger which he loved. A nice find, close to the centre of Budapest. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably priced but delicious burger and chips!

When we arrived there was a board saying we had to wait to be seated as the shop was full.
After max 5 minutes we were seated. We were given the menu the wifi password and there was a wireless charger next to the table if we needed it.
We order the Hungarian and the vendetta burgers. Both equally good. Amazing onion rings and homemade ranch sauce. Food was enough to make the night wonderful, but what really made it was Karla our waitress, she was amazing and helpful. We asked her info about the best chimney cake in the area and she actually asked the staff for their opinion,. She also chased us after we left as we forgot our water bottle, so shw could give it to us. Thank you very much. We will be back

2.5/5.
The food was fine, but nothing special. Not quite sure why it’s rated so highly. The onions rings were the best bit, but the beef was dry and the chips poor.
Not too expensive and the portion sizes were big so if you’re not bothered about quality, it’s a case of you get what you pay for.

Nowadays there's plenty of places that do good burgers with plenty of selection including their sides, fries etc. However, this places is something else, the portions are very impressive, my partner and I both had the Zombie Burger with fries, there was so much food and it all tasted delicious. The staff explain everything to you, as well as give you the WiFi password without you even asking. There's also phone charging points at each table. If I ever go back to Budapest I will definitely eat here again but maybe try better to keep room for desert because although I didn't have any the cheesecake looked amazing!

I had a great experience with Jennifer who was very kind and courteous. The burger had a good thickness to it so I didn’t feel overly stuffed after eating it. It was also cooked very well at medium. The toppings were well balanced so I could taste everything in each bite. They were also able to put together an off menu goat cheese veggie burger. The accommodating gesture was kind. Good experience :)

Hello Sir!
This is Miki the owner of Lucky 7 Burgers.
Can I ask you something?
It seems like you had an overall great experience at our burger joint. So why you rated 4 out of 5 then?
What else we could have done not to lose that 1 dot???

We went here for a quick lunch. Service was very kind, fast and attentive. We ate burgers which looked good but the buns were cold so food experience was mediocre, especially for the price level. Minus point for the lack of local payment option "SZEP kartya".

Dear Peter! As you stated in your review, "service was kind, fast and attentive" maybe because we would like to make sure that our guests are 100% happy with the food ,service and an overall experience they receive. It is our policy to check on our guests after they received the meal , so if they not a 100% satisfied, we can correct whatever mistake we made.
So if you felt like that the buns were "cold" ( which is impossible after toasting them) you should have told us.
Instead you were quiet about it.
If we don't know that you not happy with something, even we are asking you about it, then it is partly your fault that you were not happy with your overall experience.
One more thing which is pathetic. I read your other reviews , and I can see it is a central thing for you if you can't use your SZÉP KÁRTYA. We have VISA/MASTERCARD logó all over in the restaurant, on the menucards, on our website, etc.so you could make up your mind before you enter the place that you want to spend your money at that place or not. But after leaving a restaurant, and crying about not being able to use your SZÉP KÁRTYA, is pathetic. I'm sure with your 150 reviews you never had or even manage a restaurant, otherwise your review and my answer would have never happened. Enjoy your day! Miki - the owner of Lucky 7 Burgers
