Been in the restaurant at several occasions and always enjoyed it there. Modern style food, good selection of Hungarian wines and friendly staff. The terrace is a nice place to relax during summertime,

Lovely atmosphere, and the waiter could not do enough. Really good choice of "non touristy" food - good balanced menu and the food was excellent. Cute, cosy restaurant - good for couples and business associates - would definitely recommend as off the beaten track and you don't feel like you're being fed the normal tourist fodder.

Loved this great cosy restaurant. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food is amazing - you have got to try the wild boar stew! I'm still thinking about it. It's in a quieter part of the city but perfect for a cosy meal and a 10-15 min walk to the bastion afterwards to check out the views

I was looking for a nice restaurant in the area the day before and came across Mandragora. Well I surely wasn't disappointed. We came at around 3 - 4pm, so there weren't many people there, which perfectly suits me, because I hate eating in the crowded places. Waiter thta had us was nice and friendly, with perfect English and gladly... More

We went in this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and my husband told me that it is a good place with great food! He was right. The place is in the cellar, and I think summer time has terrace too. Inside the furniture and the design is nice, pretty and good looking. But the important is the food- which was... More

Excellent Experience. Warm welcome from the waiter Kornel who follow us for all the dinner. He was well prepared and he gave us perfect suggestions for wine and food. The dishes were extremely delicious, with compliments to the chef. An outstanding dinner and with an affordable price.

Having read all the glowing reviews we were really looking forward to our meal here. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the interior is cosy and pleasant. Starter of goose liver pate was great but main course of wild boar stew with dumplings with plum turned out to be stew (lovely tender meat) with 3 pieces of bread. We asked... More

Dear Lazychris1954, First af all thank You for visiting our restaurant. We are happy that you liked our goosle liver starter. After that you ordered exactly the following dish: Hungarian wild boar „stew”, bread dumpling with plum. So the stew was marked with a quotation mark, that means there is a little twist in it. We make a normal stew... More
