Italian feeling :) homemade pasta is the base of some dish. Food made by fresh ingredients, tasty parmeggiano, prosecco.. all what is needed for a great Italian meal! Focaccia was crunchy and delicous, if you are in Budapest, and you are starving for a great Italian food, go there and try, but the restaurant is a little bit expensive.

This cute Italian restaurant surprised us with a great wine selection, delicious food for a very reasonable price and friendly service. We paid 26,000 HUF for 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts, 2 cappuccinos and a bottle of red wine. We also received 2 complementary shots of limoncello at the end of our dinner! Overall we had a lovely dinner and would definitely come again.

we found this restaurant on google maps after looking for a nice place to eat in that was close to our hotel. sending them an email to make a reservation, we immediately got a response from them. the place is so cozy and has the cutest vibes. the pasta and pizzas are freshly made, the staff was super nice and the meals were delicious! the prices are super affordable and they have a big variety of pastas, pizzas, soups and more. from a quick look at the menu there is also an option to make the pasta dishes gluten free and some meals are vegan. loved this place, definitely recommending it!

Every year we come home to visit and once or twice we come here to eat pizza and pasta.
Last year we were praised this restaurant, because they had a great manager and staff.
This time was very bad..the staff just dont care, since service charge is included , why would they bother.
I requested a pizza like every year, that if they could do half and half, i even offered them a charge for the "inconvenience "..this time they said NO. New management apparently. There was not even another customer in the restaurant and as professional, i cannot understand the reason of the decline.
This was a humble, nice place..I can sit there sipping wine and spend money, but not in this atmosphere.
The waitress had not even a single moment of smile, neither willingness to enjoy.
Too bad..

Service was polite and fine. Food on the other hand was extremely late for sure overpriced and the quality was low. I had the rib eye steak with roasted potatoes (which were charged extra). The steak didn t even look like it should and was for sure no medium. Would not recommend that restaurant

We were there on a Monday night and it was relatively full compared to an average weekday. The service was excellent (thanks, Roland!), and the food was delicious. The pricing was quite fair compared to the quality of the dishes, so 10/10 would recommend.

Had dinner here and throughly enjoyed it. The started was a sharing meat platter with garlic bread, loads of it and fab. We had pasta dishes one with squid and shrimp and the other stuffed with cheese with a walnut sauce. Both were delicious, I saw other food being served and that looked delish too. The service was excellent and everything timed nicely. Good value for money too would definitely return.

This restaurant was about a 25 min walk from the centre but well worth it. The menu was extensive, pasta, pizza, meat, fish, salads and the pasta is homemade so tasted wonderful. There is outside and inside seating and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I have eaten several times at Trattoria Venezia, located opposite Corvin-Negyeded, because their oven-baked pizza is exceptionally good. I haven't been to Italy yet, but this is how I can imagine the pizzas made there. Now we wanted something else. Since it was very hot, we quenched our thirst with a cold, delicious raspberry lemonade. Unlike usual, my wife asked for chicken steak and spicy potatoes, and I asked for cappellacci stuffed with veal. Well, I like to go to restaurants precisely because of such flavors. The veal wrapped in the pasta tasted sublime. I had my partner's chicken steak and spicy potatoes which was also delicious.
The server, Roland, was very kind and direct, although all the staff in this restaurant are warm and welcoming. I don't have the unpleasant feeling here, as in many other restaurants, where they would get rid of the guest as soon as possible.
You could argue about the prices, I think the price/value ratio is appropriate. Not only the food and the service, but also the friendliness and the atmosphere.
The restaurant is cozy, we can feel the Italian charm. The bathroom is clean and sophisticated.
All in all, it is a recommended category, it is definitely worth a try, because this Restaurant may even become a favorite for us.

Very good and fresh dishes, welcoming place and very fast service and very polite waiters! At the end of the dinner the waiter Boti explained to us that the bill in euros was more expensive than the Hungarian one, and it was all written on the receipt he had brought us and he rightly advised us to pay with Hungarian currency instead of euros, a nice touch of extra kindness which was a pleasure to receive! Thanks for everything and see you soon

On a family holiday to see the Christmas markets in Budapest and wanted a break from the traditional Hungarian cuisine, so we all decided that we fancied pizza. Trattoria Venezia came highly recommended, so we booked in advance, and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and we were waited on by Rolaud, who was very attentive and all round top fella, even giving each of us a complimentary limoncello. Good atmosphere, good food, good staff and good value….what’s not to like?!

I took the whole family on Mother's Day to have some fine dinner here. The place was close to our home, since my parents are really old, and it also took SZEP card, while the menu was very diverse too, so I looked forward to it very much. We had reservations, so arrived on time. Roland made sure everything is taken care of. We all ordered starters, main dish+sides and dessert, and also a bottle of red wine and water for all of us combined. The serving was impeccable, the dishes were served fast and were delicious. The pasta was just about right (too tough for my father, but he used to overcooked pasta usually anyway, we ate it all up). The staff was polite, let us enjoy the meals and did not bother us with "if we need anything" questions, which I like a lot. The whole place was cozy, not too packed and quiet. Everything together took only 2 hours, and we were not in a rush at all. Thanks for the lovely evening and the great food!

When the pan roasted St Peter fish fillet in shrimp sauce with fennel that I had ordered arrived, the magical waft of shrimps, fennel and fish blew my senses. My first taste of that perfectly cooked fish and that amazing sauce was so pleasurable that I called Roland, our waiter, and asked him if I could speak to the chef and personally congratulate him.
That fish and that sauce was so delicious!
I did meet Peter the chef after my meal and shook his hand and gave him a hug.
We had stopped here for a drink on a very warm day. I’m glad we stayed for dinner!

My 17 year old son and I had a great visit to this authentic Italian restaurant. We were glad to have booked as it was a busy Saturday evening. The waiters were polite and efficient and we did not wait long for our pizzas to arrive. Compared with other Budapest restaurants we thought this one was reasonably priced for the quality of food served. Can thoroughly recommend.

We found this absolute gem of a place whilst having a quick search online for authentic pizza places to eat. We were not disappointed! Honestly can say for myself and my partner one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to, the food was absolutely incredible, real authentic Italian food, nothing flashy just amazing hearty food.
Our server Roland was absolutely brilliant, he didn’t pester us but was there on hand every time we needed a top up and kept checking on us on how the food was on each dish. The best service we’ve had in Budapest and by far the best food here as well. It’s 100% up there with the best food we’ve ever had anywhere.
The Pizzas did not disappoint! The bruschetta for a starter was absolutely divine!
If we were staying for longer we 100% would have visited again, next time we come to Budapest it will be on the top of our list!
