Food was very tasty. Had the Puszta Plate and a Tortilla Snack. Beer was very good too, the waiter recommended one based on what we like. Portions are a little bit small if you are hungry and the shots that the waiter recommended to drink before the meal were a little expensive.

All very good! If you want to eat typical Hungarian food and at a lower price than the Christmas markets (if you come in this period) you must come to this place.
Very kind staff, delicious dishes.
Try the various types of sausages served in different ways: choose according to your tastes. The menu contains a description of the different types of sausages, so as not to make mistakes when choosing.
Excellent quality beers. Very honest price. Highly recommended, we stayed there twice in 4 days.

Nice place for lunch. Short menu, friendly and helpful staff. Dishes served quickly.
Excellent craft beers - each delicious!
Waiters will advise on the choice of dishes and drinks, casual atmosphere.

I ordered a litre of house pilsner at fl3390, which, according to the menu, included VAT and 13% service charge. When the bill arrived it was for fl3840. I asked for an explanation of the difference and was told that it was the service charge. I pointed out that the menu clearly stated that the service charge was included and was told that it was the service charge. I especially took note of what was and wasn’t included in the price and they still conned me. This bar is in a central place where this sort of rip off is to be expected I suppose - more fool me.

VERY friendly staff !!!!! from the moment we walked in the lounge bartender greeted us with genuine smile and waiter humor us with joke to make us feel welcome....
They obviously know how to treat guests
Food was very good, especially potatoes very tasty
Beer selection was great
Really cozy atmosphere I would highly recommend

Great staff, beers are excellent and competitively priced. Food was really tasty and something for everyone. Sausage plate was excellent, chicken and cauliflower meal was tasty and full of flavour. We had nachos to start with and 2 beers (200ml swinger club and 1L helles). Beer was good quality and even the lager had a wheat background. Our bill including 13% service charge came to £47 which is comparable to other local restaurants. Recommended, I’d go back.
Amusing note; grumpy customer next to us complained about not having enough beer in his glass (that’s how it is served you fool). So they got him a new one and gave him a free shot of spirit. I didn’t complain and got nothing. Might have to complain from now on!

I'm absolutely delighted to share my review of the food and beer I recently enjoyed. The eisbock and miss Fiji were simply amazing! The eisbock had a rich stout flavor with a touch of sweetness, while the miss Fiji was refreshing and vibrant. The sausage platter was a delightful flavorful sausages that were cooked to perfection. The garlic sour-cream was amazing! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. If you're looking for incredible food, great craft beer, and a friendly atmosphere, this place is a must-visit!

A really amazing place.... Wide selection of beers suitable for the culinary offer... It also varies and very very interesting.... With my wife we tried to take nachos appetizer a burger and one of their unique dishes.... What about... Eaten very well and really abundantly... Spend 50 euros... For the quality and quantity of the offer very little... Also very attentive service... In short, a place I would recommend to anyone... You're good. Keep it up.

We visited here three times during our trip because it was so good!
The restaurant has a really nice vibe, with a mix of diners. Each night we were served by a different waiter/waitress and all of them were great - very helpful and friendly. My partner has a pretty weird food allergy and we weren't sure if one of the items would contain the ingredient, but the waitress made sure she knew what the issue was and that she'd make sure the kitchen didn't include the item if it was part of the meal.
The food is delicious. We tried the Bratwurst and Shallot Sausage plates - both amazing and I also had the chicken & sweet potato dish, which was also fab - very fresh and light if you don't feel like a meat heavy dish.
They have a fab beer selection from local brewers and were able to chat about alternatives when one wasn't available.
I would definitely recommend a visit here (if not three!) when you're in Budapest. I don't remember the costs off the top of my head, but it was very good value for the quality of food and service.

I would highly recommend this Bistro. We were lucky to find it on our first night and it was so good we visited twice in our 5 day stay in Budapest. The venue offers a relaxed atmosphere, really good food at great prices, and some fantastic craft ales to wash the food down. Staff (English speaking) are welcoming, very friendly and helpful. What more could you want?
Find Kolbizz and enjoy…we did!

Centrally located in downtown Budapest, Kolbizz is a great blend of beer and sausage, and much more. Service was friendly, fast, and easy-going. Everything is in English, making it easy for tourists to enjoy, but there are Hungarian dishes alongside other classic sausage delicacies. Prices were good, portions were just right, and the selection was outstanding. We had the BBQ sausage plate and the Shallot Sausage plate, each with a generous service of fries, and some veggies. The beer comes from local brewery HopTop, and there are excellent options in all the major categories. We were able to sample the Puffin Muffin Weisse beer, and the Foreign Extra Stout, which were excellent, the stout extremely silky. And we enjoyed the lavender beer as well as the Pils 12, today's house beer, both also quite excellent. I highly recommend Kolbizz for your visit in downtown Budapest, check it out!

Great place for beet and snacks! Excellent choice of sausage plates, and Hungarian specials. We had a great help from the staff on the dishes, the food was fresh, very well cooked. Clean and pleasant ambiance.

What's not to love... Maybe the price. Great selection of beers and food. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Our food arrived very fast. It cost £32 for 2 beers and 2 meals, which is a bit pricey IMO. The beers were 400ml, not a pint and while the food portions were generous, it is basically sausage and chips!
At the end of the day though, we enjoyed the food and being a major capital city, you expect to pay over the odds. I recommend a visit if you want simple, tasty food with a smile.

Wonderful place! It's a new addition since our last visit to Budapest, and a great one we are pleased to have found. Delicious food, great selection of craft beers on tap, reasonable prices and excellent friendly service from a team who really seem happy to have you there. We ate late lunch there twice this week, and will be looking forward to many more meals there when we return to Budapest next time. Don't hesitate, it's highly recommended.

In a place specializing in beer and sausage I couldn't help but get a hamburger where instead of meat there is sausage! Top. Choosing from about ten types, I took a classic curry frankfurter. The burger comes accompanied by paprika fries and I got paprika ketchup as a sauce. Very good burger, not even too big. So why not dare and have dessert too? A good brownie crumbled into vanilla ice cream and cream. Nice way to end a different dinner than usual. Oh and how can we not mention the excellent choice of craft beers! Prosit
