Elegant place and very quiet for downtown. It's located in an inner yard of a museum building. Professional and friendly service. Food was good, though the completion is very strong in Budapest and some expensive meals (foie gras) were not up to par. Altogether a...More

Visited for dinner in July. It was quiet but it was a Tuesday evening. Our waiter was great, polite and advised my partner on choosing a vegan starter and main. I had the foie gras creme brûlée to start with, which I loved and it...More

Eat outside because it is a wonderful area in a courtyard. We could hear the piano player from inside. The service was impeccable and I loved the veal goulash wrapped in a potato pancake. This would be a must visit restaurant for me the next...More

The restaurant has a very nice and quiet garden and terrace. It is located apprx 10 min from the middle of the downtown but worth the walking, much better than a restaurant in the touristic places. The waiters were kind and helpful. All the dishes...More

We enjoyed the food - goulash soup top quality as was the steak. There was a literacy festival that went on till nine but after that jazz filled the air and suited the area.

We have had a nice dinner here on our first evening of the trip to Budapest. We stayed in the garden, although the place seem to have quite nice and spacious interiors. We went for the typical starter + main course + wine combo, was...More

Decor is still the old world but food is excellent. From the Goulash to the meats and fish all the dishes were delicious. Friendly staff and English speaking. Our night there at the end of April was cool so we ate inside with very good...More

This restaurant is located in the internal courtyard of a building, if the temperature is right it is better to eat outside rather than inside, as the internal room is quite old fashioned with a sad decor. On the other side we had one of...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

I found the restaurant tricky to find. It is hidden through an archway and to the left of the large inner courtyard. Keep your eyes peeled for the sign at 16 Karolyi utca
