Best meal that we had in Budapest! lovely atmosphere, food and wine (have the pinot noir). duck was excellent and goulashes out! check out the cork collection o the way to the toilets and for a bit of privacy seat upstairs.

Visited this place off the stewngth of Tripadvisot reviews and wasnt disappointed at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. We spent 21000 (roughly £30) on two starters, main courses and a bittlw of red wine. Highly, highly recommended

Visited Budapest for 8 days and this was the best restaurant during our trip. They have very short menu so all ingredients are fresh. No "extra service fee" added for tourists. And yes, the food is excellent!!!

Our visit to Borbirosag offered a great welcome, a varied menu which were followed up by a delicious meal. The fresh fish was cooked perfectly, & the accompanying salad was yummy. A good menu for both meat-eaters & fish eaters, & vegetarians. I'd go again in a flash!

Very good food and excellent presentation. We had veal and lamb. Both were top notch. Millet cake is very good too. A lovely dinner overall.

Our night out at Borbíróság was fantastic. Modern style Hungarian dishes that were absolutely delicious. We reserved well in advance but the restaurant was pretty empty when we got there. Likely because we Canadians tend to eat fairly early (though until I traveled through Europe, I didn't realize eating at 7:30 pm was considered early). The service was great and... More

The food was good and modern. However, as we ordered our last bottle of wine at 22:30, they failed to mention that they close at 23:00 on a Friday, and expected us to down it quickly. The terrace is very nice for a dinner in summer, but is very dimly light.
