Cozy restaurant with character. Order the goulyash (more of a meal than a soup) or any other dish- it's always well-prepared and the ingredients are selected with care. Reasonable house wine as well, and the service is suitably non-imposing.

Cozy place, pleasant atmosphere, kind service and nice hungarian food. The duck breast was amazing, so was the plate with cheese. You can also draw on the table cloth for fun. Recommended!

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

It is a tiny place so 15 might be almost all their capacity upstairs (there is a sqaure room and a tiny long room for a long table), you might have to pay in advance to privatize or arrive early.
