I am local in Budapest and I read about the owners and the place on the website We love Budapest so we decided to try. The menu is small but smartly put together. I had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and mac&cheese my husband tried the burger and the Hot Dog. The dishes were tasty, the portions are big enough and I though the value for money was very fair at such a location. The small blond lady who served us spoke perfect English with my husband and was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend the place to anyone who is keen on having some American bites (you could also taste that the ingredients like pork, beef meat etc. were high quality which is decisive for a good street kitchen). The sauces were not so amazing except for their own one and the Hot Dog was not for my taste (my husband likes this art of “debreceni” sausage I am more like a “virsli” type).

Food is BEAUTIFUL ... simple!
You get to choose what meat you want and how much, it's all done on weight so you can decide portion size of each meat which is great.
Pulled pork is incredible, ribs, beef I mean everything we had was just melt in your mouth good!
Oh and the meat is so soft and tender you can cut it all with a plastic knife and fork!
Cant be beat... best meal of the trip!

Been to this place twice on our trip. It was by far the BEST food place we went to. If you love GOOD meat then this is the definitely the place for you. The only thing I would say that I did not really like about it was the lack of table service. Made it feel more like a fast food joint when you had to go up and order and collect your tray but definitely was not enough to put us off. Definitely give this place a visit.

I had the pulled pork sandwich, mustard potato salad, pickles and their homemade black currant soda. Yes, the pork was very tender but the noticeable absence of tangy barbecue sauce made for bland eating. Leaving, I saw that the barbecue sauce is an extra charge which is weird. I definitely would have ordered some if I had seen it on the menu when I ordered. Salads and bread were average. Soda was tasty. Probably would not return.

My wife as I visited the Kiraly ut. location and were a bit disappointed with the outcome. We lived in the southern portion of the United States where for 30 years and know our BBQ. We had the pulled pork sandwich, Mac & Cheese with coleslaw on the side. The three items were served piping hot (as they should be) but lacking any real serious taste....pork was dry, lacking that smokey taste and short on the sauce, almost bland. The Mac & Cheese was watered down, runny and too bland for my liking.. The coleslaw lacked any taste at all. It may not be fair for us to judge a BBQ joint in Budapest but, I would think twice about going there. Perhaps it was just an off day for the cooks. By the way, ALL the beer taps were not working when we came in. What's BBQ without draft beer or four. We went with cokes and water.

They advertise as having Texas style bbq, I have had bbq all around the United States and sorry none tasted like this. The meat didn’t have a good smoke flavor or smoke ring. And was covered in so much sauce that if it did it was not the star of the meat. I had looked forward to coming and getting a taste of home bbq but alas it was not to be. The potato salad was ok but had way to much mustard and the coleslaw was bland, and not even my wife couldn’t eat the pickles.

Lovely food great atmosphere and great staff. Had the bbq mixed plate. Very good quality of food, meat weighed by the gram so added extra pulled pork and was more than enough for two people.

I had no experencie with high end bbq staff. I tried the xxl bbq mix plate, experienced new waves of tastes of meats and the best fruite sauce. Try it, I come back ;)

The location is simply beautiful, with attention to every detail in the design, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and from the very first moment, we felt that guests are truly valued here. The burgers were simply fantastic not only in taste but also in quality, and all of this at a great price. We haven’t found such delicious and carefully prepared food anywhere else. The presentation and flavors were in perfect harmony, making the experience even more memorable. We will definitely be returning, as it would be a shame to miss out on a place like this.

They sneakily charge a service fee (for tourists only) for takeaway orders as well. The manager is also very aggressive and rude to the employees, and they are also obviously badmouthing the guests who can't understand what they're saying. Looks like a typical exploitative workplace, the food was okay, but the environment itself totally killed the experience.

This place was the fourth of our local bbq visits but this one did not satisfied us too much. Prices are cheap but a pull pork without bbq sauce kind of pity, but my main problem was the Mac&Cheese, because it’s way far from call it like that. Better to call pasta with sauce.

I bought ribs on Monday, I was hungry and was looking forward a good meal.
Unfortunately the ribs were dried on the edges, chewy, overcooked and probably heated few times from the weekend.
The meat around bone was good though.
I was really disappointed as I took 500g and only half of it was edible.
Please do not use the meat from the las day, it’s really unfair to people who are looking for tasty meal.
Probably I won’t visit soon….shame

Very quick service, delicious food, very tasty and i was full after one burger!😅 Good price and big selection and i’m usually very picky but here i liked everything on the menu. The location is perfect and easily accessible. 🚗🚌🚶 I strongly recommend it to everyone, I would say it stands out compared to the burger bars in Budapest☺️

Came with three families. Missing meals, cold bread, not enough side dishes (probably due to some broken equipment). Beef was ok, sausage wasn’t the best. Also people at next table didn’t eat it all.

This is hands down the BEST BBQ that I have had anywhere in Europe! The quality of meat combined with the excellent prices are an epic combination. You will not be sorry that you ate here! The owner learned in Texas and definitely brought it with him to Budapest! Their BBQ sauces are just delicious and authentic as any true BBQ fanatic would expect! I forgot that I was in Hungary for the time that I was eating. Well done!
