Food was well worth the wait! Service was slow. The Argentinian steak on the hot stone was phenomenal! The goulash soup was excellent and very flavorful.

This restaurant has v basic service and a simple menu focused on meats on hot stones.servings are large - they advertise 300g of meat which was decently accurate.the winner was the Hungarian mangelica pork on hot stone- the best pork I have ever tasted - better than Korobuta pork and less fatty.this is a restaurant to be selective- the Hungarian... Steak on a hot stone was a good and an interesting experience. Overall worth the price even though it was kinda expensive for Budapest. For drinks the price was ok. Vegetarian options were minimal and unsatisfying. Service was good. Good atmosphere. Ok place to eat in.

We were very disappointing with our visit. It's over priced and the food was not the best. They served us the meat to cook it on stones but honestly not recommended restaurant in the city. We had much better authentic and delicious Hungarian food in another places.

Went here for last meal before travelling home, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. I ordered the chicken on hot stone, and when it arrived it was completely raw. I was told I basically had to cook it myself, which for steak I could understand but for chicken is ridiculous. My partner ordered the paprika chicken, which came undercooked.... More

Ate here for lunch as I was leaving Budapest that afternoon and was a great place to end my stay. I passed this place loads of times during the evenings and decided to try it out. It has the hussle and bussle atmosphere of eating outside in a crowded high street but you can eat inside if you want to.... More

First night in Budapest and the restaurant was in a good location and fairly busy. Too tired to.invesyigate further and regret it. Partner had lamb on a hot stone- delicious but coupled with the beef goulash (miaow!!).and a beer / wine didn't warrant the hefty £50÷ price tag. Plenty of other good restaurants off vaci utca. Pleasant waitress.

This place has superb location, being at the famous pedestrian area - Vaci street. Menu was quite rich, prices moderate. Food was good, and overall atmosphere very nice. Only drawback was somewhat surly staff. Recommended.

Relax with a large beer and a wine Food is excellent and the hot stone way of cooking is very immersive. Have the food delivered to your table still cooking and eat it when it's just right for you - piping hot. What better way to enjoy food with those you love. Don't miss it, it's a real treat

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
