A group of us stopped for a light dinner. The food was ok, especially the ice cream sundaes. Service was poor. The restaurant was not busy at all but the waiters seemed to have little interest in waiting on us.

After reading some reviews and having a bad experience yesterday in another restaurant we still decided to stay for diner after a drink. Just because of the great view and our painful feet. The food was surprisingly nice. We had fish and lamb. Both main...More

Some friends and I stopped in on this place after a morning boat trip on the river just opposite. If sitting out side you get a great view of the river. The food seemed good local selections and my girlfriend really enjoyed her paprika chicken....More

We had a really great evening in the restaurant. Good food, really nice staff and best location for a evening by the Donau. It's not the cheapest restaurant but you location is excellent

On the river, at sunset, looking at the royal palace...perfect view for a great hungarian cousine experience. In a hot summer evening nothing better that a cold local beer and meat cooked in hungarian style. I tried the stuffed cabbage and they were tasty, thanks...More

No visit would be complete to Budapest without visiting this establishment overlooking the Danube and by the statue of the Little Princess. I asked for the chilli cocktail as they no long have it on the menu and they made me one especially... Love this...More

It's alfresco style dinner. Started with waiting for the sunset. As the dinner progressed, we slowly moved into the romantic dusk and then the candlelight dining. The musicians were captivating. They got the diners to interact by walking from table to table spontaneously and got...More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

Our restaurant is located in the heart of the city centre, on Vigadó Square, looking on Duna-korzó. This wonderful walking path along the Danube on the Pest side has always been a favourite meeting and walking place for people and there has always been a coffe-house or a restaurant on the site of our venue ever since the 1870's. Duna Corso restaurant is run by the same family for more than 40 years. Now it is already the third generation working here, thinking over and recreating traditional recipes. The nostalgic old and the reformed new tastes of Hungarian cuisine combined with our own gastronomic traditions determine the selection on the menu. From early spring till late autumn we welcome our guests on one of the most wonderful, panoramic terraces whereas during winter time we await them with our classic and modern rooms. In the evenings the culinary experience is completed by live music. In 2015 we added a confectionary to our restaurant. We offer freshly made cakes and homemade ice-cream every day.
