I had my first Indian meal in some four years a few weeks before visiting this place. That meal may have gone some way to downplaying the visit to this particular restaurant. Nice, cozy little place, wide ranging menu but I know what I like...and ordered accordingly. There was a comfortably short wait and the presentation of my meal was good, the spiciness was non-existent (I learnt to expect this in Poland) but it was tasty and good size portions. Not disappointed but I would have liked better. Still, it was probably my last Indian food for some time to come so I relished the opportunity anyway. It cost almost exactly the same as the awesome Indian meal I'd shared in Krakov a month earlier, so on that basis, it was just okay. No real complaints, everything was good, just not great.More
Restaurant is small, but I like this place. Very good food. Typical Indian food. My favorite one is tikka masala.Very nice atmosphere. There is also home delivery.
very poor service. Seems the name copied from Warszawa one but never got the test like warszawa. i thought it's branch off Tulsi-warszawa while visited there and got disappointed. in conclusion i must tell original authentic test is there in Warszawa only.
Last night I decided to visit this restaurant with my wife and must say we were not disappointed. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the member of staff who had excellent customer service skills...very friendly, helpful and generally making sure that everything...was alright for us. (she also spoke English which was really helpful) It is a small basement restaurant but perfectly formed and really worth searching out. However the food of course is the most important reason and we ordered onion bhajis and papadums for starters, which arrived with a portion of mango chutney. The bhajis tasted fresh and were delicious as were the papadums and mango chutney. For our main course we had butter chicken and Tandoori Haryali tikka (pieces of spicy chicken, with a yogurt sauce) with some naan bread....I can say that the flavours and taste were excellent...original flavours and spices you can taste.....everything was exactly how it should be and I can say that the meal was as good as many high quality indian restaurants in the UK...In fact I haven't tasted an Indian meal as good as this in the 10 years or so since leaving the UK. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant and we will be returning again. They also do a takeaway service. Great value for money and a memorable experience. It really is a must do for people who enjoy good quality, flavoursome Indian food or people who just want to try Indian food for the first time.More
Delicious meal. We have visited this place first time since few years and it changed a lot. Quality of food is high. Taste is very intensive. Im sure we will back soon. The only minus is that place is not intimate. We were sitting upstairs....There were no music and there was echo inside the room. I was feeling like sitting with all guests at one table. Not ok for dates.More
One of the best indian food we tried yet. Fresh ingredients and amazing taste. The service was very nice and helpfull and spoke english.
Were here on our Poland trip. Located in a small cellar room, nicely decorated. Very good indian food on a high level. Not that hot as used, but delicious! Very warm and friendly service.
We were here for a family dinner - and we were greatly impressed by the food, hospitality and service! The Vindaloo was spicy and delicious - a must try!
This place is perfect. Small, with just a couple of tables but full of flavours. We were advised on what to choose from the menu, suggestions were great. The food was excellent, nothing to complain about.
Had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food that we were served as I felt it was truly authentic. So, five BINDIs to you, Ali! from Ala and Charlie :)
We have decided to try something new in Opole and get to know the story behind this. Indian mate found love with a polish girl and brings portion of tastes and love to cooking to his guests. The experience was nice and spicy :-) Bread...(naan) was just perfect. We tried chicken soup (quite strong) and butter chicken (fits perfect with additional yogurt dip), mango kulfi (new taste of salt and mango, requires a bit of courage). Service ok, missed to take away dishes after eating.More
First of all, I wanted to mention the service - the waitress was pleasant and professional. She was knowledgable about the menu, and constantly had a smile on her face. I guess, she deserves a raise, as all the comments about the service I read,...are very good ;) Amazing salty lassi (I know it as Doogh drink) and very interesting, chai tea with saffron. The food was lovely too - we ate 2 vegetarian Paneer dishes with garlic naan to share. The dishes were rich and had a good amount of Paneer in them. We left the place full and satisfied. There is a large menu, so everyone can find something for themselves. Thank you for the nice eveningMore
