Wandered in here as it is very close to the Christmas Markets. We had to wait a while to get menu's and this slow service continued throughout the visit. We asked for our bill and it never came so we proceeded up to the counter to pay. We got a receipt for the two soups we ordered which came to... More

After two dsys in Moscow and two in Krakow with excellent tasty food an good service, we tried this restaurant. Only for something hot to drink and a small snack. The so called Irish Coffe tasted real bad (no sugar, old cream and bad spirit), and the snack never arrived. The waiter was impolite and not interested in service or... More

Enjoyed an hour or so in this historic bar prior to having dinner. What made it special was the great music played by a couple of pianists ranging from Chopin to Billy Joel. A little more expensive than other bars but still good value compared to the UK. After our drinks we enjoyed hot food in the Christmas Market. Perfect!

Went here for breakfast before visiting the market for the day. The ambience is very nice, plus they had a piano player that morning and it was the only pleasant thing about the restaurant. The server was not friendly. The omelettes were large and fluffy but over cooked. We ordered a pitcher of tap water and they tacked 30 zloty... More

Having read others comments retrospectively, we obviously visited at the right time - I just didn't share their bad experience although there was a strange lady giving me dirty looks for using the toilet. Twice we visited and sitting in the sun on the main square, marzipans and coffee at Noworolski was bliss. Early even there was great piano playing... More

This has to be the worst place to have a coffee in the whole of Krakow. From start to finish i can honestly say it was like a sketch from a comedy unfortunately it wasn't and was happening to my family. We arrived and after about 15 minutes of being sat outside i gave up waiting for a waiter and... More

On a dull rainy afternoon we visited this traditionally furnished art deco cafe overlooking the Main Square. Recently refurbished we were welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed delicious local cakes and coffee. We were even lucky enough to enjoy some wonderful music played on the piano by two very accomplished and talented musicians. Definitely worth visiting just for this, the... More

Worth visited only for the interior, the service is terrible, food average, and prices high. It looks like it needs new management.

This place frequented by Lenin and Krakow's high society since 1910, is located right in Krakow's main square. Served Krakow traditional cuisine, all were delicious. The sour rye soup was presented beautifully inside a bread bowl (very creative, plus point for that!). They have quite extensive dessert choices, with great view of main square and beautiful interior, making this a... More

The setting is fabulous, overlooking the square and towards St Mary's church, the service was great, calm and unrushed, and the waiters great, The food was unfussy and delicious. This is one of my favourite restaurants anywhere in Europe.
