Pleasant restaurant, Delicious foods and friendly service. International and Polish cuisine. When we were there, it was inexpensive midday menu.

We visited the Szara as a party of 10. The food and also the vine was delicious. The price is a little bit high, but it's worth every penny. Good for some meat with vine.

We tried to get in the night before but fully booked a sure sign it's good. Went for lunch the following day and we weren't disappointed. Great location with a bit of old style elegance 1930's - 40's style. The service was excellent as was the food. We actually felt that the cost of meal was very reasonable given the... More

During my recent week's stay in Krakow had supper here three times and can say that it was consistently the best food, great service and very reasonably priced all round. Particularly good for meat dishes and great ambience

The atmosphere was soothing for the night. It was pleasant music and the place looked really traditional. Service was top notch, it raised the rating for me, because the food wasn't excellent. For starter we had marinated duck slices and oven baked cheese. The cheese was great, should have ordered two, because the duck was undercooked and wasn't "firm" enough... More

We were there on a Christmas Party with the company. The service was quite ok, but the food was a disaster. Cold soup, so so pierogi, not tasty fish. The place was booked just for us but all the people complained that this was a bad choice.

Popped in on the off chance of a table. Mid week wasn't busy and the service was welcoming and friendly. There was a good menu choice and we chose the duck and the wild boar - both were really tasty and tender with a good choice of well cooked vegetables. The expresso coffee and chocolate liqueur cocktail was gorgeous We... More

Restaurant Szara in Kazimierz District ( Jewish Quarter ) was an absolutely fabulous restaurant that we visited on our recent holiday to Krakow. Located on Ul.Szeroka which is the most famous and beautiful street in the Jewish Quarter, the restaurant is located by the historic Remuh Synogogue. The restaurant itself is superb with a really nice interior with great furnishings and... More
