U-Kroka was a short walk from our hotel and was very friendly with good English speaking servers. The special of the day was fresh and well prepared. Good beer on tap as well. Glad we ventured here.

This is THE place for Czech food!! You can try other places within walking distance of your hotel, but you may be disappointed. We have lived in Prague for years and wanted to try some place new while our family was visiting. Completely blown away from our experience at U Kroka...we will definitely be returning. The menu is vast to... More

Share large tables with others. Your host seats you and right behind is a gent with two dark beers. Not far behind is another gent with a tray of schnapps. Then another fellow arrives in the room playing the accordion. Excellent food. Good service. Reasonable price.

The food is absolutely divine. Honestly one of the nicest meals I've had and the price is unbelievable. For the standard of food and service I think I'd be paying 3 times as much in the uk. Just such a great experience in very cool surroundings. Definitely worth a visit!

We were recommended U Kroka by the waitress at Pastar (see my other review). It seemed quite a way out but we decided to go there anyhow. It was totally worth the 160 crown taxi journey. The wine waiter knew everything about the wine and told us about it in a way that wasn't patronising, just interesting. The staff were... More

A very charming and cozy place to spend an evening. We very much enjoyed our dinner at U Kroka. The staff was really helpful, and the sommelier suggested a great wine to go with our meal. We had an appetizer, two delicious mains and two desserts + water and wine, all excellent, and at a very very reasonable price! We... More

We found this quaint little restaurant in a residential area well away from the usual tourist spots. We were walking around the neighborhood after checking into our hotel (Park Inn) and stopped in for a drink before dinner at about 5PM. We were seated only because we promised to be out by 7PM. Immediately we noticed that almost all of... More

This is the best kept secret in Prague. A little off the beaten track but the most amazing food and service ever! Make sure to book as they are full every night. I cannot recommend the chicken wing starter & rabbit main enough. Great wine & the staff are really friendly.

Description
We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs.

Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials.
