One of the worst experiences in my life regarding meal and coffee. Ordered the salmon pancake, tasteless and sad meal. The coffee was from nescafe granules, the taste was very obvious. The staff and the ambience were nice. Wouldnt reccomend to have a meal or...a coffee here at all.More

We had lunch at Café Louvre. I read about it online, so I wanted to visit. At first it was a little hard to find, but when we arrived I immediately loved it. I loved the early twentieth century style and atmosphere. Also, the food...was delicious and the staff was friendly! Would love to visit again!More

Recommended by a local, I ended up visiting twice. It's a wonderful walk back in time to the Grand old Cafes with so much history. Had some very good Tiramasu. Whilst I didn't have a main course, the food others were having looked great and...they seemed to love it. Service was good, but it's mostly about the atmosphere here. A great place to chill out with a coffee or cake break or catch up with friends. The cappuccino was particularly disappointing, but otherwise I'd always go back and try other things. Reasonably priced. Located upstairs.More

This place is quite central and is a good place to go if you want to experience the old cafes. They have a few types of drinks and cakes and even a few food items. But people usually don’t go there to eat. Is a...place to meet friends, hang out. Also can be considered as a tourism experience. Good to note: if you want to go by yourself and just enjoy your coffee and read your newspaper you can do that too.More

With such a name the Café Louvre is very attractive for French tourists. But beyond the name, the Café du Louvre is really an EXCELLENT SURPRISE. The typical old fashion setting is fantastic and we enjoyed visiting the billiard room at the back of the...dining room. We have been very well received in spite of the fact that we had no reservation (at 6:30PM) and we have been sitting in a charming corner of the room. We had some very good desserts looking like cheese-cake, followed by an excellent coffee and obviously by a glass of “slivovice”, the typical Czech plum alcohol. Really, the Café Louvre is worth a five star grade and we warmly recommend it. Congratulation to this old and respectable institution.More

One of the best and most traditional cafes in Prague. Staff is very nice, well dressed, friendly and everything that hit the table was pure quality.

I went to Louvre again- after longer brake (ok covid times are crazy for certain citizens). I had delicious thai style duck soup, turkey schnitzel with mashed potato, which is probably the best mashed I ever ate in restaurant. As the treat to be teleported...to the heaven directly Pavlova dessert with wild cherry sauce. For me Louvre is option Nr. 1 if I want to have marvelous food, perfect service and feel as dearly beloved welcome guestMore

Entrance: I have been to Cafe Louvre 3 times. As you climb the stairs and enter the hall, you see a nice miniature fountain type thing, and it has big telephone map may be from WW2 times or older. There is souvenir shop from where...I bought a diary. Good stuff. Restaurant: It has a very vintage look and split into big halls with vintage pictures on the wall. I tried soup and had a basket of breads on the side. It was very authentic, rich yet affordable. Other time I tried braised beef, it was little too sweet, but okay. I also tried a dessert, but I forgot its name. It was good. Staff: Friendly, and waiters are nice. The person at souvenir shop is quite helpful. Would recommend totally.More

Cafe Louvre is an excellent restaurant. It is located on the first floor of a big building; entrance via a stairway. Very nice vintage atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Acoustics are good: even with a lot of guests, it was not very noisy. Friendly staff, the waiter...knows when to come to your table and when not. Very helpful (they helped me all a taxi). Very affordable prices, too. We had good cocktails, champagne, a lovely dinner and the best desert ever: the CHOUX, a french profiterole with pistachio cream. An unforgettable evening! We would definitely come again.More

Three of us visited for coffee, late lunch and desert. The coffee was decent. The fruit lemonades pleasant. The food came with no delay and was good. The sweets were certainly the highlight. Very nice environment, worth visiting at all times of day for trying...the different offerings. Observing the service throughout the hall it was a bit chaotic but it was a busy Saturday. Covid protocols were adhered to. Will visit again.More
