This particular area is surrounded by tourist traps. Fortunately La Patisserie is a local shop that offers fresh pastries and snacks and a variety of drinks, that are all decently priced. Especially enjoyed the chocolate twists and the pain au chocolate!

I am local (I live in Prague) and this little cafe/bistro looks ordinary and not a tourist trap. However, the ladies behind the counter are typically rude, I mean the Czech way. I stopped in this place on Sunday 22 October afternoon and when I...More

This small caffe has good number of items on the top of the hill. Coffee and other cold drinks with baked food are well enough for a small break in castle tour in Prague.

Every time I'm here the staff are very unfriendly. I go back because the food is fresh and tasty. Their sandwiches are beautiful and I LOVE the potato cakes. But how hard is it to give a smile and hello, I feel unwanted and a...More

We picked up filled rolls and pastries for lunch here, they were all superb. The pastry chef is wasted in a little place like this she should be in a large city sitting tuning out these super pastries for high wages, Really recommended.

Good service, cheap and nice food. We have been here before for lunch, they have sandwich, beer, soda coffee. The location is very nice and relaxing.

On Dec 25th, when almost every place was close, this patisserie was open. We came here for a quick bite during breakfast. We were served by this wonderful, friendly woman. The bread with ham, cheese and tomatoes was really fresh and delicious. We also tried...More

I regularly visit La Patisserie when in Prague. The open sandwiches are fabulous, either to sit down and eat with a coffee, or to take-away and eat later. There is also a good selection of filled croissants and salads, lunchtime special soup and other drinks....More

The café will not win any awards for it's décor but it is very clean. We had a coffee and cake one morning and bought some sandwiches another day for lunch. Both time the food was very good.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if

streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
