This restaurant was on the same block as my hotel (Clement). I had goulash, knedlicky (awesome Czech dough dumplings), blini (crepe-like pastries) with strawberries and ice cream, sodas, etc. all for about $18. Definitely worth visiting!

We (6) had dinner here. For Prague price per menu item quit expensive, food though very average. There are many better restaurants close by.

As this restaurant was next to our hotel, we decided to try it. The prices are reasonable, as this place is not in the tourist trap. The service was slow - we waited some 30-40 mins for our food, and the next day their kitchen was already closed at 10:30 PM. But once we got our food, we were pleasantly... More

2 glasses of wine, salmon dinner and carbonara for $35 euro. That's with the tip. This is very good food...the price after the convention was shocking as we already said we were coming back the next day! Just bring cash as they are cash only.

This was quiet and really good restaurant. Quite cheap and very very good food! Food coming to table took a few minutes but it didn't matter so much when the food was good.

We visited this restaurant because it was next door to our hotel and noticed on passing that it served traditional czech cuisine. We were definitely not disappointed! The restaurant is situated on a very quiet street, a stone throw away from the center, it was very quiet, we were the only table! My boyfriend tried the goulash which he said... More

Wrapped up our days of sightseeing with a pint and wings in this pub next to our hotel. Great beer and good finger food.

The restaurant was near the hotel we stayed in and we wanted to have some local cuisine before going out in the evening. The menu was in Czech and English, the restaurant was deserted, food was averagely priced (but the restaurant is a way out from the centre and tourist areas), beers was good and reasonably priced 35Kc a 0.5L.... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
