We thouroughly enjoy our meal here. We had Svickova Roast Beef, Paison Goulash and Leg of duck, they all tasty and delicious. The portion is big for lady. Beer is very cheap, friendly service.

Terrible Terrible place. Avoid at all costs. Food, staff and whole experience an utter disaster. Food was of poor quality, inedible to be precise, sent back 4 dishes, staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and rude.

Found this place by chance and came back almost every day! The restaurant is very spacious and has lots of place between tables which is rare for Prague! A lot of light from huge windows make it very airy as well. The food and beer...More

represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of
the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the

The palace previously referred to by the name of its owners as Piccolomini or Sylva-Taroucca Palace is now more widely known as Savarin Palace, bearing the name of the famous French connoisseur of food and drink. Being considered to be one of the most famed gastronomes and gourmets, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826) is the author of the following quote: "The discovery of a new dish does more for the happiness of the human race than the discovery of a new star."
