Had the omelette with baked pie (raspberry), others had pancakes. Loved the coffee and rye bread. Delish!

Got a recommendation for this cafe because of its breakfast. The food is really good, but the coffee... Well, is "ugly" something to describe a taste? However. I love good coffee, good food and friendly service. Only good food just gets them 3 out of 5.

We dropped in here as we were looking for somewhere for dinner and most restaurants were full. The waitress was pretty unfriendly from the outset which is unusual in Prague. She was busy but not excessively so. She seemed quite reluctant to let us in but we were offered to perch along the window. The whole experience was bizarrely unfriendly.... More

Well located, this place is very nice to have breakfast or lunch, or just to eat some cake anytime of the day! The staff was very friendly and the chocolate cake was to die for - very, very good!

Another gem in Prague. Went there for a breakfast and it was superb. The waiter was super nice, he explained the dishes and menu patiently and clearly. The highlight? Omelette with goat cheese! Super delicious! Oh and try the pancakes too, it was on a whole different level.

We went to home kitchen on kozi for lunch. The place was unique as there was no printed menu but they showcased their meals for the day on a table. Their soups was especially very good. The service was also very kind and friendly. Overall it was cute place for a nice lunch in the beautiful part of old town.

If you're after a gourmet breakfast you're not going to find it here. What you will find is seriously wholesome delicious food at a wonderful place. It is all freshly made and the bread is to die for!! We ordered the baked bread with cheese and ham (amazing!!) with some scrambled egg and my boyfriend had the pancakes. This was... More

During our 4 nights in Prague, we visited the Home Kitchen on Kozi every single morning. Firstly, their coffee is the best we've ever had (we're quite fussy about our coffee). Every flat white was consistently perfect, no matter who made it. Their breakfasts are also a must-have. and to top it off, it was the friendliest service we experienced... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
