I'm a frequent visitor to Cukr Kava Limonada restaurant. It's the right place to stop in a hot day for refreshment, in a cold day for hot drink and always for nice light food or marvellous cakes or pastry. Very good coffee and home made lemonades. The restaurant is hidden but due to high popularity it's sometimes full of locals... More

A bit expensive but very tasty. Good service but sometimes waitresses could be a bit more smily and kind :)

Stopped in this place to have some late lunch and were very happy of our choice. Make sure to try their savoury pancakes (ham & brie version). Very tastfull and dont forget dessert, they have a wide range of selfbaked cakes and pies. Service was excellent, always with a smile and very friendly.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Both savoury and sweet pancakes were delicious and staff were very pleasant. A little gem, only a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge. Make sure you have cash as they don't take credit cards.

...I need to get something off my chest first up. The music they played was a collection of early '80s power ballads which I had hoped I would never hear again. I keep forgetting how bad that music is. Anyway... ...apart from that, this was a great breakfast in a cosy restaurant. I had an excellent omelet, the coffee was... More

Place is idyllic for breakfast. Order the Fried eggs with the ham. outstanding. The fresh squeezed juices are perfect, and the irish coffee wasn't too shabby either :-D . If in Prague , get breakfast here. it won't dissappoint.

This restaurant is fairly easy to find on the castle side of the Charles Bridge. I had read about the cute interior and was not disappointed. It is only open until 7pm, so I would recommend breakfast or lunch. We visited for breakfast and had an open salmon sandwich on homemade seed bread, along with a traditional apple & almond... More

After a few days in Prague, we really wanted to treat ourselves to something that didn't involve beer, potato, gravy or more beer and we stumbled upon this little gem, with fresh made juices, salads and home made sweets. The setting is nice and relaxed with a quirky, light feel to it. The staff are courteous and speak fluent English.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
