In a city that doesn't shine in the customer service department, this cosy restaurant made for a welcome change! We stumbled across this place and enjoyed a lovely night of great food - very reasonable prices - and excellent atmosphere!

We were actually looking for a different wine bar when we (literally) stumbled down the stairs to Vinny sklep. This is a tiny wine bar in an old arched basement the bartender was very friendly and we enjoyed the local Czech wines. This is very...More

A wonderful place. From the outside it appears like just a doorway leading to nothing much, but persevere and it rewards. A number of different rooms, all very atmospheric, with excellent wines, all at very reasonable prices. Our wonderful waitress talked us out of our...More

Description
Very atmospheric wine bar in a beautiful acient cellar. Excelent vines, acompanied with selected cheeses, chorizos and other rather spanish style tapas. Very extensive wine list is focused on german rieslings, mainly from Rheingau and spanish tempranios from Rioja. Wine from other regions like France, Italy or Austalia can be found as well. Local wines from Moravia and even from Prague a part of the offer. Prices are very reasonable starting with about 1€ per glas. Educated and attentive service helps with wine selection. Vinny sklep Ujezd 19 was listed among top 5 Prague winebars.
