Very finely prepared dishes, very tasty and fresh. The service is excellent and clearly the staff has a passion with Japanese cuisine with explanation of the dishes, extra services like salad, Japanese crackers and so professional manager.

Went here with my girlfriend for lunch. Prices were extremely high so it should be really good right? NO! Had two dishes - salmon salad and assortment of makis and nigiris. The fish was reeaaallly bad. My guess is that it was old. It was not the problem of being able to eat but rather keep the food down. Restaurant&service... More

When in London, I always visit a sushi place. Defune on George street is the favourite. Expensive, but high quality. Today I visited The Sushi bar in Prague. It has or used to have a good name. I was very dissapointed. When I saw how maki were rolled, I should have run. Even I can do a similar job. The... More

It's true. It's a bit expensive, above the average for Prague. But quality is costly and if you love sushi the extra cost of this sushi bar is payed off. The courtesy and the competence of the waiter is well combined with the impressive presentation of the dishes. The high quality of food then well satisfy the high expectations triggered.... More

Small sushi bistro with excellent service - quick and helpful staff explaining every piece of served meals. If you would like start with Sushi experience, this is the right place. Very nice interior, clean, with Japanese feeling. I will return there for sure, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality Sushi. Not cheap, but... More

Great experience!! I've had sushi in London, Paris, and now Prague these past two weeks and this was by far the best. Incredible salmon sashimi, which was a special gift from the chef for free. Also, my mom is vegetarian and had many options, and my dad does not even like sushi and had a great ramen and miso soup.... More

We had been looking for a beautiful light dinner to break up the rich Czech food on holiday. This restaurant was a real find: the staff are superbly attentive and the food was excellent. We got complimentary halibut tempura to start and the soups and sushi were delicious. The bathrooms are full of complimentary goodies and immaculately clean. All the... More

First of all, the price was too expensive, same as London. I ordered "Tonjiru", means a soup with pork but there was nothing. They said it was "vegetarian" but I couldn't find like that explanation in the menu. Of course this was not Tonjiru, it was fake. Also I had the worst "Ramen", soup with noodle. The noodle was not... More

This is a great little sushi bar in Prague. The prices are a bit on the high-side, but very fresh with great presentation. The waiter was very attentive as was the sushi chief. The waiter brought warm cloths for our hands and a very nice complimentary dish while we deciding on what to get. Will certainly go back next time... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
